Hey guys, What I need is some step-by-step videos made for me (using Camtasia or whatever) Showing me how to make the website I'm about to provided step-by-step from A-Z. It's very important I learn how to make these style sites. A couple of things 1. Must be someone from the U.S. 2. The website doesn't have to look 100% like the one on the link but close to it. 3. Must be able to speak clear English and videos must be clear and easy to follow. Send me a PM if your interested in the job and I am paying $65 for the job. Here is the link of the website as you can see its small and should be no problem for your dreamweaver savvy guys www.quote-life.co.uk |

dude... no offence, but you'll have to pay more. Try Freelancer or rent a coder. They might be able to do it in your budget. |

So you'd be getting 2 things,... 1)video instruction, 2) a website, There are some excellent tutorials on the net for Dreamweaver instruction and many of them are free,.. but it takes a little hunting around. Or you could buy a complete set of downloadable DVD's that cost around $90 from memory. Actually,.. the site you wish to replicate is not difficult. The most difficult part is the sourcing of and insertion of the Java script that creates the quotes. This script may be able to actually be lifted from the source code on the sample site but I think it would be a sticky process,.. best to source the script properly. My estimate range for you getting such a site built would be at least $250 to $500 for a decent job using html platform. Now if you were really smart (no inference intended... just a figure of speech) then you'd be much better off building this with WordPress purely from a user friendly (admin) and SEO perspective (assuming you want the site to get indexed, crawled often and attract hoards of traffic). If it was my project I'd use "Thesis" theme by WordPress to build this site because that would make it Web2.0 interactive, simple to use and modify,.and an automatic traffic magnet once you had your keywords in place. Having said that,.. any decent coder/programmer IMO would have to charge you at least $300 to $500 to put it together. Yes it would be nice to get a crash course and a new site for 65 bucks but remember that old saying "you get what you pay for"?... in this case you wouldn't even get that much IMHO. Cheers, Russ | |

Hi, this is Nicole from Rent a Coder. As MeTellYou suggested (thank you MeTellYou), our service is appropriate for hiring workers for this type of work. I'd like to point out a few differences between our service and services like Freelaner since those differences could influence the success of an outsourced project. Selection of workers: The more bids you receive, the more bargaining power and selection you have, and the less you have to pay. However, some sites make money for themselves in ways that reduce the # of bids you receive. Freelancer workers can't make more than 30 bids a month unless they pay a subscription fee. That not only reduces the number of qualified workers, it can additionally raise your costs since workers often pass their expenses onto you. At Rentacoder, we do not place a bid limit on any of our workers for any reason. Disputes/Arbitration: Unfortunately, 10-20% of projects fail (and on some sites this # is higher). If your worker is a bum, it's important the site offers escrowing and arbitration so you are guaranteed to get your money back. However, some sites charge so much for arbitration or make it so time consuming that it becomes impractical. Freelancer limits arbitration to projects with milestone payments of more than $30. If your project has milestones less than that, you don't have access to arbitration even though your situation may warrant it. Moreover, Freelancer's mandatory pre-arbitration processes let abusive workers stall the *start* of arbitration (and prevent you from accessing your money) for weeks. So a Freelancer worker can stall arbitration on Freelancer for 17 or more days. We would explain more, but Freelancer doesn't publish detailed rules of it's arbitration process. At Rentacoder, we offer arbitration on all projects free of charge and we test your deliverables to make sure they meet requirements. We also prevent abusive buyers from stalling an arbitration's start. In fact, 45% of our arbitrations are completed under a day and 75% of them are completed under a week. Even more, we show the public how our arbitrators make their decisions. In addition, most of these types of sites let you pay a worker you have employed before by the hour, which is the most convenient and cheapest way. However, Freelancer doesn't verify the worker's timecard is accurate. On Rent a Coder, workers must punch in and out of a timeclock, and you can see a continuous record of their webcam and desktop, so you know the time is accurate. There are other differences as well. I invite everyone to compare the 7 major services through this link to learn even more: Why choose Rent A Coder (for buyers)? Compare it to elance, guru, oDesk, freelancer and other sites in the industry If you have any questions, please let me know. You can also call in to talk to a facilitator 7 days a week, or email us (see Feedback / Contact). Nicole www.rentacoder.com |

I did see a WSO offering video tutorials about creating a minisite but I believe it was using photoshop, have a look in that forum, unfortunately the forum search feature seems to be turned off at this moment, hopefully the mods will turn it on again soon! scorpio9 |
