I currently use the services of another company for VA's. I am currently using 4 per week but they have started to give me a shoddy service.
If I provide a list stating exactly what services I seek to be performed on a weekly basis will they be performed to the letter? It's nothing complicated, just simple stuff. For example, if I state I require X number of .edu links on a specific url I expect to get this, I do not expect to get wiki's instead. Likewise if I state yahoo answers in context I expect to see them, I do not want to see an answer relating to fluffy bears (or whatever) linking to my now unrelated niche.
If the VA does not follow my instructions I want them changed. I would like the VA managed so when I receive my weekly reports I know that I do not have to sit and check everything to see where the VA has tried to cut corners, okay with this?.

At the end of the day its not how cheap the services are, its the back up, performance, punctuality and service provided that determine value for money and its this that I am interested in.

Note I cannot pm so would appreciate answer here with a nudge via pm to let me know that you have posted a reply. Answering here may also help other warriors trying to determine what services you provide and how well vetted & monitored your VA's are.

If there's one thing that I can describe about GlobolStaff (Yes, Globol), it's their flexibility.

I have a very peculiar task that needs to be completed. It was fundamentally very simple really, press the left arrow key if a piece of content is relevant to a specific theme, press the right arrow key if it's not relevant. I had written a complete interface to minimize any unproductive time on the worker and ensure that the maximum mini-tasks were finished.

I approached GlobolStaff with this task and went back and forth with their managers trying to work out an amicable agreement. We eventually were able to arrive at a very reasonable price and payment plan which both accommodated my financial situation, as well as my VAs financial needs.

Day 1 with my VA was nothing short of impressive. Her output was far above my own output when I did the project alone, and by the end of the week, the traffic generated by her efforts easily was worth the money I was paying her. My VA provided daily reports--even on Saturdays--summarizing the work completed that day and the managers routinely followed up with me to ensure my satisfaction with the services provided.

I have started discussing other projects for this firm to take on, and once my cash flow permits hiring them, I will definitely hire another VA.

I wanted to share a quick note on my experience with Global Staff. I hired their highest level VA three weeks ago for a project requiring a diverse skill set (video creation, account creation, manual commenting, and SEO). After a few Skype conversations with my VA and VA manager, my VA got to work using the SOP I provided her.

I was immediately impressed by my VA's attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and communication skills. Even though I have assigned my VA rather monotonous tasks, her work output has increased over the past three weeks.

In Philipines one can usally find VA from $200-250. So what's so special about your employees that they are twice as expensive?

I have a very peculiar task that needs to be completed. It was fundamentally very simple really, press the left arrow key if a piece of content is relevant to a specific theme, press the right arrow key if it's not relevant. I had written a complete interface to minimize any unproductive time on the worker and ensure that the maximum mini-tasks were finished. I approached GlobolStaff with this task and went back and forth with their managers trying to work out an amicable agreement. We eventually were able to arrive at a very reasonable price and payment plan which both accommodated my financial situation, as well as my VAs financial needs. Day 1 with my VA was nothing short of impressive. Her output was far above my own output when I did the project alone, and by the end of the week, the traffic generated by her efforts easily was worth the money I was paying her. My VA provided daily reports--even on Saturdays--summarizing the work completed that day and the managers routinely followed up with me to ensure my satisfaction with the services provided. I have started discussing other projects for this firm to take on, and once my cash flow permits hiring them, I will definitely hire another VA.

In this case it was the google1+ service. Payment done and placed the order more than a week ago. No sign so far from them. Doesn't impress me at all.

I hired their highest level VA three weeks ago for a project requiring a diverse skill set (video creation, account creation, manual commenting, and SEO). After a few Skype conversations with my VA and VA manager, my VA got to work using the SOP I provided her. I was immediately impressed by my VA's attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and communication skills. Even though I have assigned my VA rather monotonous tasks, her work output has increased over the past three weeks.
