I'm not sure how this works as far as passwords go.

I don't think he was trying to be racist. At least that is not how I read it. He was basically being a smart @ss AND venting because someone came in on his thread spamming. I would be a little upset my self. As far as the India comment, yeah I guess he could have left that out but to be honest I never for one second viewed it as racist in anyway. I guess it depends who you are and how you read it.

I'm not racist. A guy who I thought/think was from India, looking for outsource work posted on my thread.

I defended my thread and his post was deleted (or he removed it).

I could of said Mr Texas outsourcer ... but I don't think the same message would of been delivered - and if you viewed his blog you would of seen he clearly wasn't from Texas.

There are cultural things that I do not want to partake in and that disturb me:

1. 9 year olds in my apartment that are out playing at 10pm unsupervised
2. boom music at 1am
3. pants that are so low they walk around with hand holding them up, revealing their underwear, etc
4. Alcohol every night
5. Buying more on credit than you can afford
6. Food that stinks up an entire apartment block
7. Cigarettes - especially if right a the door that I am entering
8. Being willing to accept $3 an hour and then advertising where the same service goes for at least $40 an hour.
9. Lying, cheating, stealing - etc
10. 50% dropout rate in our Public Education system (certain schools)
11. Claiming everything is a race issue
12. black fingernail polish and mini skirts - on guys

perhaps these things disturb you too?

I see some races that do some of these things more than others - but it's the thing I hate, not the race.

Claiming racism simply because it offended you is absurd. I looked in Wikipedia for a definition: "Racism is the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another,that a person's social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics."

I'm definitely not a racist.

How many people would be interested in a setup where I get visitors to your site and get you over technical hurdles for a flat fee per visitor?

(50 cents to 75 cents per visitor is a fair charge for most niches)

I do all of the marketing (writing articles, getting backlinks, optimizing the pages, making sure wordpress is setup correctly, etc)

There would be additional fees for an autoresponder, analytics, split testing setup etc, but they would be minimal ($500 a month to do a whole slew of things). My goal will be to make you profitable so you continue to use my consulting.

For the per visitor charge, you only pay if I deliver unique visitors. And you only pay AFTER you get the visitors, and only if they are unique.

(500 visitors in month 1, means I need to get 501 visitors in month 2 to get paid, and then I only get paid for the improvement of 1 visitor).

All methods will be whitehat and legit, targeted traffic (mostly SEO articles that I place on your site and link to).

I'll do all of the technical backend and all you have to do is help me with content creation (record 30 seconds of talking about each keyword that I research for you - I'll transcribe, edit and do the SEO).

If anyone is interested in this kind of no hassle traffic funnel please say so on the thread. I'm looking for several customers that I can work with on a long term basis.

I guess I am wondering how you would keep track of the visitors from your efforts as I do quite a bit of link building etc. I guess I have Google analytics I may be able follow that way. Let me know if your interested and some costs and what you would propose. Site is about 3 months old and I managed to get to a PR2 so far.

1. I would install Google Analytics, create new content, generate links to my new content, track the traffic to that content.

2. I would also setup PPC, and try to leverage my PPC skills against what I am charging.

The combination of the two gives you instant results with long term benefit. All you, as a customer, need to worry about is converting the traffic. For a small fee, I can help with setting up the technical aspects of split testing and page redesigns/edits to boost conversion. My goal is to have recurring income through your monthly increased profits, not pocket change on odd script installs.

At the end of the day, you simply get traffic for a specified cost and it is up to my skill to drive the traffic to your site.

Exact billing or deals will depend on each situation - a person with 10k visitors a month that wants to reach 20k a month is different than a person who is struggling to install wordpress. In the end I get them over whatever hurdle they are having issues with.

Hi eveyone - most of you don't know me as I keep a pretty low profile around forums. I set up and license marketing systems and websites for a specific segment of offline business.

I just wanted to drop by and let you know about my experience hiring and working with James. He has no idea I'm going to post this here.

Recently my amazing coder was snatched up by a large company and I needed to find someone else quickly. So I decided to see if a Warrior could fill her shoes.

I took a chance and hired James to code a pretty complicated website design for one of my clients. I'm always a little leary of hiring people without knowing someone else who's worked for them before - you're probably the same.

yes, I can rewrite them using htaccess files so you don't lose page rank. However, you need a replacement. If you just rewrite them all to the home page for example you'll kill your rankings and all of your 404 will appear as duplicate content.

A guy who I thought/think was from India, looking for outsource work posted on my thread. I defended my thread and his post was deleted (or he removed it). I could of said Mr Texas outsourcer ... but I don't think the same message would of been delivered - and if you viewed his blog you would of seen he clearly wasn't from Texas. There are cultural things that I do not want to partake in and that disturb me: 1. 9 year olds in my apartment that are out playing at 10pm unsupervised 2. boom music at 1am 3. pants that are so low they walk around with hand holding them up, revealing their underwear, etc 4. Alcohol every night 5. Buying more on credit than you can afford 6. Food that stinks up an entire apartment block 7. Cigarettes - especially if right a the door that I am entering 8. Being willing to accept $3 an hour and then advertising where the same service goes for at least $40 an hour. 9. Lying, cheating, stealing - etc 10. 50% dropout rate in our Public Education system (certain schools) 11. Claiming everything is a race issue 12. black fingernail polish and mini skirts - on guys perhaps these things disturb you too? I see some races that do some of these things more than others - but it's the thing I hate, not the race. Claiming racism simply because it offended you is absurd. I looked in Wikipedia for a definition: "Racism is the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another,that a person's social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics." I'm definitely not a racist.

(50 cents to 75 cents per visitor is a fair charge for most niches) I do all of the marketing (writing articles, getting backlinks, optimizing the pages, making sure wordpress is setup correctly, etc) There would be additional fees for an autoresponder, analytics, split testing setup etc, but they would be minimal ($500 a month to do a whole slew of things). My goal will be to make you profitable so you continue to use my consulting. For the per visitor charge, you only pay if I deliver unique visitors. And you only pay AFTER you get the visitors, and only if they are unique. (500 visitors in month 1, means I need to get 501 visitors in month 2 to get paid, and then I only get paid for the improvement of 1 visitor). All methods will be whitehat and legit, targeted traffic (mostly SEO articles that I place on your site and link to). I'll do all of the technical backend and all you have to do is help me with content creation (record 30 seconds of talking about each keyword that I research for you - I'll transcribe, edit and do the SEO). I would also setup PPC, and try to leverage my PPC skills against what I am charging. The combination of the two gives you instant results with long term benefit. All you, as a customer, need to worry about is converting the traffic. For a small fee, I can help with setting up the technical aspects of split testing and page redesigns/edits to boost conversion. My goal is to have recurring income through your monthly increased profits, not pocket change on odd script installs. At the end of the day, you simply get traffic for a specified cost and it is up to my skill to drive the traffic to your site. Exact billing or deals will depend on each situation - a person with 10k visitors a month that wants to reach 20k a month is different than a person who is struggling to install wordpress. In the end I get them over whatever hurdle they are having issues with.
