Website translation and multilingual SEO

Ready for your international expansion? Ready to target customers overseas? Tough luck if your site is only in English. Unless, of course, you are willing to localize your website.

I have a degree in Computer Sciences, and have worked as a technical translator for over 30 years. But a "simple" translator will do more harm than good to your international expansion. For that reason you need a real SEO translator, somebody specialized in translating and localizing websites.

The main characteristic of my work is quality. Forget about machine translation or low-cost third-world translators (bad quality translations will impact your SERPs) or sending out text to a translation agency that doesn't know anything about websites. Forget about converting your html or php pages into Word. The real pro takes your website as it is, and returns it ready for use in a different language, with all the necessary on-page SEO already performed. Of course you will doubt any self-promotion, so I will simply point out to my specialized blog on website translation. Check out for yourself if I have the know-how that you require.

Do you realize that with the languages I speak fluently (English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch and Flemish) I can ensure that your localized website is available to 844 million native speakers in their own language? And given that many Internet users speak also other languages with these 5 languages almost 70% of all Internet users will be able to read your translated website!

I offer standard plain text and website translation, but also multilingual SEO and website localization services into different languages. You may contract me simply for the localization of your website or for multilingual SEO services.

I am flexible in my services - you can request from a simple text translation to a "hands-off" turn-key solution that you can upload directly to your website. Please contact me by means of a PM or through the mail in my contact page for a quote for your personalized service.

Human translation is better in some cases and machine translation is appropriate in others. If you need machine translation, I suggest using Site Translator - Language Translation Software for Websites and .net Applications - Site Translator - it translates all the content on a website without modifying asp/php/html or javascript code underneath.

Well, you're an adult, so do that at your own risk - machine translation for your websites is now high-risk activity for your SEO efforts. Why? Check out my post about how machine translation is impacted by the new Google algorithm.
