Someone turned me on to White Spark, and their $4/citation.

But I decided to check here first

Wow much cheaper. Are your citations quality just as good? I'm sure it is, but thought I'd ask.

1. I want to use a twilio or similar forwarding phone number. I remember in the past it was frowned upon to use a forwarding number.

2. Would you build the citations first, sit back for indexing, and then claim business?
( this was recommended in the past )

Hi Ferris! Thanks for contacting us.

To answer your two questions, those types of phone numbers can become a way to get flagged, especially if that number has been circulated a ton and seen a lot of turnover. Your best bet is always a real number, and 2nd, an actual mobile # registered with the name and address of the business. Virtual numbers are getting more and more risky to use and we don't recommend them.

For your 2nd question, the Local SEO landscape has seen a lot of changes lately. We are recommending yes, citations be done in the early stages of claiming your listing, but that you also have a Google+ personal profile setup and optimized for your business. It makes a huge difference.

Depending on competition, domain age, pagerank of the target website, and other factors, yes ranking can take anywhere from 1-6 months or more. Too many variables to say across the board. And while yes, Google does tend to "like" fat sites, thats not to say small sites wont rank - it just depends.

I have used these guys since May 30, 2013 .. bought a 50 keyword package in a niche that was around $50 CPC ... and these guys kicked -ss!

ranking number 1 for most of my main money-making kws, on the first page for 90 percent of them

It has been 2 years since I first hired SEO Service Agents to work on one of my clients local listing. This was for a lawyer niche that is extremely competitive. After setting up the page and working on it for a few month, the listing was in the 1 - 2 spot for all the major keywords. It was even outranking the court!

Anyways I just looked at the ranking for the client and was very surprised to see that the listing is still in the 2 - 4 spot. This is 2 years later with no work done on it. Thats incredible!

Yes, we will use the login your client provides you so we can optimize the listing and get it ranked. If they choose to cancel, no we do not delete the listing.

Will they still be on the first page? In time if they dont continue our service, yes their rankings will drop. We have a saying around here:

We will stop continuing to rank your listing,
when your competitors stop trying to outrank you.

Thats why many of our clients stay with us so long.

Share on: It has been 2 years since I first hired SEO Service Agents to work on one of my clients local listing. This was for a lawyer niche that is extremely competitive. After setting up the page and working on it for a few month, the listing was in the 1 - 2 spot for all the major keywords. It was even outranking the court! Anyways I just looked at the ranking for the client and was very surprised to see that the listing is still in the 2 - 4 spot. This is 2 years later with no work done on it. Thats incredible! Share on: Questions: If they claimed the listing you will use their login? And for whatever reason they want to cancel you will delete the listing from first page? What if they claim it after you deleted?will they still be on first page without your help anymore?
