More links will drip in naturally over the next few weeks which should help stabilise the site's rankings and could even take it higher.

The packages are safe for new websites although it is quite normal for the rankings to fluctuate particularly if a new site hasn't had much work done yet or been left for a while.

It's not so much about how many links you build it's more about maintaining a natural linking pattern and velocity. You can build a lot of links to any site but you need to be able to keep it going and not too "peaky."

The rate at which the links are found can be "adjusted" somewhat by tailoring the pinging/indexing methods to a particular site's profile as well as dripping in some of the links over time.

Some people like most of the links delivered quite quickly whilst others prefer a slightly longer drip feed effect.
