4. How long before I see improvement?

For brand new listings, you're looking at about 3-4 weeks before your listing is even live.

If you have an existing listing where there is no issue with the business name or address formatting, you can see results in less than a month.

Of course, results depend a lot on the services your purchase from us, as well as the quality and number of existing citations. If many 3rd party sites have incorrectly-formatted citations, a clean up job will be recommended for best results.

Access to a client's Google Places listing is not required for me to do what I've listed above. There are those, however, that have not yet selected categories or written a description, or even claimed their listing; in those circumstances, I can research categories, help claim the listing, etc. but I take those on a case-by-case basis.

Well it depends. If your goal for this client is to rank their Google Places listing, they need a proper website. It doesn't have to be a large, elaborate site, but their are basics that need to be in place. This is something I can help with, but we'll have to discuss that via email, please.

If your intention is not to rank their listing, then I could use the Google Plus page, or something else like Insider Pages or Merchant Circle, which allows for a lot of great info in the profile.

First, thanks for the interest in my services. I appreciate it.

Showing up for multiple cities is possible, and it can be easy or difficult depending on the competition and size of the other cities.

Google's view of relevancy would be the possible show stopper here.

All other things being equal, your client's listing will have less weight in a city that didn't match his zip code or area code.

That being said, though... some surrounding areas are so small and have competition that is so weak, it is very possible to be on page 1 for each of those areas.

Shoot me an email, please, so I can take a closer look at your client's business and the areas he/she serves. There are numerous things we can do.

Everything we do is a one-time fee. We don't do anything on a monthly basis.

Link packages can be purchased on a monthly basis, but there's no need to purchase a setup more than once.

That being said, though, many hire us to fix setups that were already done, but just not done properly.

• Patrick's been very helpful in answering my questions on Local Website Creation and Local SEO / Google Local + (I wish we could still call it Google Places). His response time is very quick via email.
  
• He setup a website for one of my local clients and the client is very happy. Its professional and Patrick put a lot of thought into the Local SEO part of it. Including kw research, geo taggs, google map integration and the KML/schema items. He also helped customize the look and feel of the site to make the client happy.
  
• I would say his specialty is to actually think about each clients needs and develop a sensible approach to getting them relevant traffic. He is also good at finding kws that show up as Google Local + (damnit, google, why can't we just keep it Google Places!!).
