Joe done me a logo and header design. At first I wasnt that keen on the design he came up with but we worked together and he has come up with an awesome design which I am very pleased with and am sure Joe is very happy with it as-well.

I felt a little bad as Joe re-designed the logo and header about 3 times. However all I can say is that Joe didn't leave me unhappy. He got the job done to above my satisfaction and I am going back to him to get another website design done as-well

I want to report on the work Logonerds has done for me so far:

I have to-date received 3 completed logos from them (still have several in process). I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. And, I will continue to use them.

Here is what I specifically liked:

1) Communication - my biggest concern when using a web vendor for the first time is how fast they reply to emails. I received prompt replies both from the sales side before I ordered and from the project manager after I ordered. Logonerds communication is first rate. I was very happy here.

2) Focus on customer satisfaction - I was surprised how freely they worked to get to a finished concept I loved. Out of the 3 logos, 1 first draft was really close to what I could see in my head, and 2 were not (maybe my fault for not communicating enough about that vision to them). For the price I paid, I wasn't expecting liberal revisions, in fact, I offered to pay a second time for the 2 logos I wanted to start over on (as opposed to just revising) - and, they refused to take my money. They simply started over. I ended up with logos I was really happy with. I am not suggesting that they would work endlessly revising and revising a logo (always remember how much they charging), but I was very surprised at how much work and time they cheerfully put into getting my logos the way I saw them in my head. This was way and above what I expected.

3) Professionalism - Pleasant, prompt, and professional throughout the entire process. Not a hint of "the customer is a bother" that you sometimes feel. They cheerfully focused on making me happy and every interaction was positive and professional. I could not have asked for anything more.

What I Got for My $$$:

I initially received 3 different concepts for each logo. I was allowed to suggest revisions and ask to see some different choices. We worked down to the final logo.

I was not given what I call "clip art" logos, where a "designer" puts your name in a font next to a piece of clip art. These were real, custom professionaly designed logos.

They use a project manager to liaison between the customer and the designers (which I think is great). It is easier to tell a PM what you don't like about a design than to directly tell the designer. As a designer, it can be hard to hear only negative about what might be really good work. I have seen that turn the design process ugly before. Project managers know how to take customer feedback and explain it to the designer the right way.

This one feature is a reason I would hugely recommend using these guys - you won't find yourself in an awkward or strained series of emails with a designer that result in negative outcome (this might be bigger than you think).

Files I received:

print and web resolution versions of the images,
JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, and TIFF versions;
Transparent background versions;
AI, EPS, and PSD files

Feelings About the Price

I don't know how they do this for $27. I received value ten-fold that price. I have paid $300+ for a "logo package" and received less attention, fewer revisions, and a much weaker finished logo before.

I was initially skeptical about ordering, because I thought for only $27 I would not get either a) quality design, b) revision time, or c) all the file versions I wanted. I also suspected I might be getting back what I call "clip art" logos. But, I figured my risk was only $27, so why not try it.

I got everything I wanted and more. My expectations were far exceeded.

I highly recommend LogoNerds.

I am very surprised this thread is not much longer...
