You can , but then the links will be divided amongst your 6 keywords , giving less link juice for each keyword . So if it's fine with you , then it's fine with us .

Profile links are tier 2 links in our case , which are used to give a boost to the tier 1 backlinks and we only use those forum profile + web 2.0 profiles , which stay for a long period , that's why we focus on quality rather than quantity .

Hello, do you recommend anything for anchor text diversity?

I understand that lack of variation can get a site de-ranked. I don't think 3 keywords would be safe long term.

3 is the recommended number , we can use more than 3 keywords ,
We also generic keywords like "click here" , "link" , if the client wants , and if he wants greater diversity , he can surely provide more number of keywords .

We mentioned 3 keywords , because many times clients get confused how much keywords should be provided , so we gave them a number for minimum number of keywords recommended.
