HELLO WARRIORS

If you're looking for a blog/article writer who writes 100% of his own stuff, you've come to the right place.

WHO AM I?

I'm a retired American businessman, born, raised and educated in New England, who loves to travel the world on the cheap... while also earning a bit of income during the journey. I enjoy writing. I'm also a voracious reader... hence, many ideas to write about.

It all started at Providence College in Rhode Island while pursuing an accounting degree. Although the accounting made it easy to find work after graduation, it was a two-semester speech class that really caught my attention. It was much more interesting than cost accounting.

After a hitch in the Marine Corps, it was off to New York City for an auditing job at an international accounting firm (Deloitte). It wasn't long before I was the one who usually got picked to draft the audit reports.

From then on, just about every job (including building and managing a rubber factory in Malaysia for Nike) involved report writing. Sometimes the topics were a bit boring, but I always enjoyed the act of writing... and was told I was good at it.

INTERNET WRITING EXPERIENCE

It wasn't until we (my wife and I) started selling on eBay in 2003 that I became interested in writing for the internet. Our eBay account is still active as AsiaShoppingTreks. Please check us out... especially the customer feedback.

While doing business on eBay... and after figuring out how to construct a Wordpress blog, I set up the AsiaShoppingTreks.com blog. That was before I knew anything about SEO.

I think my most recent website-building project, WeightLossTeaTips.com (registered to me at NameCheap.com), shows a bit more SEO savviness. It was built for Adsense. Below are a few articles I wrote (under the pen name of Paul Alpha) and linked to weightlossteatips.com:

RESEARCHING AN ARTICLE

I usually employ a system of analyzing a few of the top Google results for specific ideas, without plagiarizing anything... then combining those ideas into a general topic that relates to the title and keywords.
Relevant LSIs will also be researched and added to the mix.

WRITING AN ARTICLE

All articles will be unique and run through Copyscape.
I'm aware of Pandas and Penguins.
All articles will be written for the reader. Content is king.
SEO will blend in with the content... not interfere with it.

TOPICS

I'm interested in writing about most any subjects... including: Asia, The Middle East, Alternative Energy, Health Foods, Independent Foreign Travel, Travel on the Cheap, Economics, Globalization, Sports --- Boston Red Sox (of course), Music, Shopping, Arts & Crafts, Construction, Home décor, Business, History, Etc. If I don't know anything about a subject, I'll spend extra time researching it. On the other hand, rocket science and brain surgery are not my strongest topics :-)

AN ADDED THOUGHT

During this karma-building period, I know my prices have to be very competitive. I also know price means nothing if a quality product is not delivered on time.
