I'm sorry, but you haven't been responding to your emails either. I ordered 10 articles from you, and although they came on time, you wrote them on slightly different keywords than I had wanted (thus making them useless for my needs).

Example: I wanted an article written around the keyword phrase "beginner investing". Instead, you wrote the article around the phrase "beginner investment". Which is similar, but not the same.

And you did this with 3 out of the 10 articles.

But I'm not difficult. I let you know about the error and asked you to kindly correct them.

I haven't heard back from you since. And it seems like I'm not the only one.

And to be honest, I found that the quality of the articles was much less the quality of the samples.

This is just my honest review of your services.

First of all you, ordered only 5 articles.

SEcondly, out of the 5 , I understand there were some really minor error in regards to keywords usage but that happened especially because she didn't specify anything in the beginning. However, once she pointed the mistakes, I went ahead, revised them and sent the revisions.

I am looking for reliable writers with good communication and I don't think this will work out.

In the future don't overbook yourself and know how much work you are capable of handling. Oh and with the turn around time, "Say what you mean and mean what you say".

Chris Morris here...

Listen, I bought an ebook WSO package from Aritra Basu back in May 26th 2009 and was told that I would receive my finished ebook in 10 days from purchase. The wso thread is here: Who Wants a High Quality**CUSTOM WRITTEN** eBook For a Very LOW Price?

On May 26th I wrote Aritra and gave her the details of my project and she wrote me back and let me know that she had already began researching the topic and wanted me to clarify a few items before she began the project.

I wrote her back May 27th giving her an outline of what I wanted to cover in my book and she wrote me back same day to let me know that I should pay a little more and get a bigger, more comprehensive book. Total payment was paid at $400 USD.

I agreed to an 80 page book done in 10 days from start to finish with daily updates so I can plan my launch around it. I received her own outline of what the final product would look like on May 27th and I asked her to sign a NDA for the product which she eventually did.

May 31st I emailed to inquire about the book and how she was coming along. On June 1st I got her reply that she had already started with the eBook. Hopefully, by this weekend, I can send you the first draft.

June 6th I receive my NDA along with the message "
I will send the product update soon."

June 8th, I again inquire about her progress and she emails me on June 9th saying "Hello, It's coming off well. Finished around 12,000 words already.

Btw, did you get a chance to see the NDA? Was it ok?"

June 9th I reply that I did receive the NDA but I needed to know how long she anticipated this to be complete?

I got no answer.

I emailed her on June 13th and 14 twice saying that I still have yet to hear from her and what was the status of my book.

On June 15th I get this reply: "I am extremely sorry for the communication gap in the last 3 days.I tried emailing you using my phone- but guess that didn't reach you. I didn't have you cell no. on record too and that's why I could not call you. There had been a cyclone here "aila" and we had no power for about 72 hours- arrghh..However, things are better now. I will send you whatever's done in a few hours and then we will take it from there.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused."

I wrote her back same day June 15th and said that I was glad to hear she was safe and ok and thanked her for the update. I asked her how much work was left on the project.

She replied June 15th and said it was nearly done and she'd send me the final in 48 hours.

I replied and thanked her for the update.

On June 16th I asked Aritra just to send over what she currently had worked on so I can look it over and make sure she was on target for the project. She sent me a copy of what she had done so far.

On June 17th I sent another email to Aritra and asked her if she even followed the outline that either one of us had sent to the other and let her know that most of the information for the product was not relevant information to my topic and I could not use it.

I gave her specific instances where she was using generic information that describes *any* product creation like tupperware or weird things of that nature and not info product creation which are two entirely different things.

She wrote back on June 18th thanking me and let me know she will edit those parts and go over the product and that this was just the un-edited version. She also claims she had no idea I only wanted to cover info product creation. This was the whole topic guys, I don't understand how she could think differently.

I wrote her back and said that I was sorry for the confusion but I was off to sleep and she immediately replied: "ok chris have a good night's sleep..and don't worry..the end product
will be rocking and on track

"

On June 21st I email Aritra again and ask her what the status of the book was.

On June 21st Aritra replies: "hey chris,
I took an off this weekend to spend the 2 days with my dear father-i am his only child and treating him to all the luxuries that he truly deserves.have the best father in the world and am sure ur son/daughter feels the same for u or yu feel the same for ur dad. Sending u this mail from my phone.assure u the product will b finished by this new week. Thanks

"

June 26th, I once again write Aritra and ask her about the book and how it's coming. Got no reply.

June 19th, I write Aritra and say that I thought she agreed to send me the work by that weekend. I asked if everything was ok.

June 30th Aritra replies: "Just finished writing it. Now editing the first part of the draft and adding everything together.I know it took a lot of time than expected- but trust me research was a killer and I wanted to include only the best info.
It's 12:45 am- I will get a few hours sleep-wake up and send over everything together.
Thanks for your patience."

I write back immediately and tell her that is great news and I'm excited.

I write her back on July 2nd,3rd,5th,6th and finally got a reply on July 6th only after my email to her telling her I was contacting Paypal for a refund.

On July 6th she sends me another copy of the book and I spent that day going over the material. I wrote her back multiple times explaining the problems with the book and each time all I heard was basically "Ok, I will fix it."

I Wrote her back on July 6th a few times, one to say that the beginning of the book was good but I had huge gaps in paragraphs that made absolutely no sense about my niche and that I would have to fix all these huge gaps myself which would take more of my time which I hired her to help me with.

I had no reply for days and on July 15th I wrote her and explained that this project has taken up way too much of my time and was not done in the 10 days that we both agreed upon and asked for a refund.

It was over a month almost going on two at that point. I tried to work this out with Aritra, she is now unresponsive to my emails, I sent out a refund request with Paypal and they basically said "Good Luck".

On July 14th or 15th I was very upset and went to the testimonials that Aritra had used in her WSO and asked Kevin and John about their experiences with Aritra and suprisingly they had no issues but I was told they only wrote 1 or 2 articles and that was it. I was wondering if this was too much for her.

On July 15th Aritra emails me and says "Kindly don't go about posting in public places about the refund." Why? I have no other recourse against you Aritra. This isn't personal, it's business. My business. She went on to say that she did deliver what I asked for and it was done and delivered. Really? Then why would I be emailing you over the next month or two with refund requests and telling you it's NOT ok? She said Paypal is on my side. Yeah, I heard that from them already.

I wrote her back on the 15th and clearly explained "Again" how she did not finish the book in 10 days as agreed upon, how the book was definitely NOT complete and that I was very unhappy that I paid her $400 for a book that I would have to write and rewrite sections myself. I again asked for a full refund.

Aritra wrote back on July 15th and said she can not process a refund because she put work into the project. And said that if I wanted a refund then I should have told her halfway into the project and not at the end. Uh Aritra, if you hadn't noticed...I did. Not only that but we went days without commmunication from you...Remember?

She did say "I am very sorry the project took this turn and I feel miserable. I am ready to cooperate should you do too!" We spoke via Gmail chat and I gave her another chance to fix the book and she accepted.

On July 23rd I emailed and asked how the book was coming and on July 25th I got the reply that I would have it on Monday July 27th.

On July 30th I emailed AGAIN, "Hey Aritra...Where is the book?" She replied that she omitted the portions I found irrelevant and wanted to know if there was anything else I needed reworked. I wrote back and said if you can just rewrite those portions then I would be fine with that. I again pointed out that I was promised yet again to have it on a specific day and did not receive it as promised.

So Aritra writes back on July 30th and says "Edited version will be in your inbox by 12 hours.Thanks"

24 hours go by...no book, 72 hours go by...no book. On Aug 2nd I write Aritra and say it's now been 72 hours, can you please send me the finished book? No reply.

5 days later no word from Aritra, I posted in Warrior Forum, Warrior Forum PM and in one of her threads.

I will take this as a lesson learned but wanted to make you guys aware of this before you make any decisions.

To those who have not had contact with Aritra, requested a refund like I did because the book she promised in 10 days didn't arrive in over 2 months then I would suggest contacting an admin / mod.

Seems like Aritra may have taken on more than she could handle with Chris's project. If what he says is true, it's absolutely unacceptable. Aritra was quite responsive when I worked with her.

Fact is, if the product really is over 2 months overdue and is in no usable format as per agreed terms, at *very* least Chris should receive a 50% discount/refund.

To think that if Aritra is just ignoring Chris, that's theft! That's exactly what it is and if I was Chris I'd be inclined to contact the mods to have this thread removed for promoting a scammer.

I hope it isn't so black and white, but Chris is a sincere guy.

contact and excuses on why I didn't receive
it etc.

The fact is, I'm so behind on this project that
I had to concentrate on another one just so I
wasn't at a stand still in my business. There is
a fellow Warrior who will remain nameless who
is helping me out right now and hopefully this
gets resolved.

If not, lesson learned and I hope that this kind
of thing doesn't happen to another Warrior or
anyone else.

Chris - I am sorry for your troubles.

Your long winded email does not help your case in my opinion.
What it does do is put more pressure on Aritra and that will just make her less productive than she is now.

Why do I give her some credit? Well because she has been writing here for quite some time and has mostly good feedback. And in my opinion writing a bunch of nasty grams in the forum usually just has the person pack it up and move on. Which just makes it worse for everybody who has projects waiting.

Instead of writing 1700 word reporting on what happened why don't you work on the rough ebook she sent you or maybe you could write some articles to promote your website. Do something productive.

I wrote her back same day June 15th and said that I was glad to hear she was safe and ok and thanked her for the update. I asked her how much work was left on the project. She replied June 15th and said it was nearly done and she'd send me the final in 48 hours. I replied and thanked her for the update. On June 16th I asked Aritra just to send over what she currently had worked on so I can look it over and make sure she was on target for the project. She sent me a copy of what she had done so far. On June 17th I sent another email to Aritra and asked her if she even followed the outline that either one of us had sent to the other and let her know that most of the information for the product was not relevant information to my topic and I could not use it. I gave her specific instances where she was using generic information that describes any product creation like tupperware or weird things of that nature and not info product creation which are two entirely different things. She wrote back on June 18th thanking me and let me know she will edit those parts and go over the product and that this was just the un-edited version. She also claims she had no idea I only wanted to cover info product creation. This was the whole topic guys, I don't understand how she could think differently. I wrote her back and said that I was sorry for the confusion but I was off to sleep and she immediately replied: "ok chris have a good night's sleep..and don't worry..the end product will be rocking and on track " On June 21st I email Aritra again and ask her what the status of the book was. On June 21st Aritra replies: "hey chris, I took an off this weekend to spend the 2 days with my dear father-i am his only child and treating him to all the luxuries that he truly deserves.have the best father in the world and am sure ur son/daughter feels the same for u or yu feel the same for ur dad. Sending u this mail from my phone.assure u the product will b finished by this new week. Thanks " June 26th, I once again write Aritra and ask her about the book and how it's coming. Got no reply. June 19th, I write Aritra and say that I thought she agreed to send me the work by that weekend. I asked if everything was ok. June 30th Aritra replies: "Just finished writing it. Now editing the first part of the draft and adding everything together.I know it took a lot of time than expected- but trust me research was a killer and I wanted to include only the best info. It's 12:45 am- I will get a few hours sleep-wake up and send over everything together. Thanks for your patience." I write back immediately and tell her that is great news and I'm excited. I write her back on July 2nd,3rd,5th,6th and finally got a reply on July 6th only after my email to her telling her I was contacting Paypal for a refund. On July 6th she sends me another copy of the book and I spent that day going over the material. I wrote her back multiple times explaining the problems with the book and each time all I heard was basically "Ok, I will fix it." I Wrote her back on July 6th a few times, one to say that the beginning of the book was good but I had huge gaps in paragraphs that made absolutely no sense about my niche and that I would have to fix all these huge gaps myself which would take more of my time which I hired her to help me with. I had no reply for days and on July 15th I wrote her and explained that this project has taken up way too much of my time and was not done in the 10 days that we both agreed upon and asked for a refund. It was over a month almost going on two at that point. I tried to work this out with Aritra, she is now unresponsive to my emails, I sent out a refund request with Paypal and they basically said "Good Luck". On July 14th or 15th I was very upset and went to the testimonials that Aritra had used in her WSO and asked Kevin and John about their experiences with Aritra and suprisingly they had no issues but I was told they only wrote 1 or 2 articles and that was it. I was wondering if this was too much for her. On July 15th Aritra emails me and says "Kindly don't go about posting in public places about the refund." Why? I have no other recourse against you Aritra. This isn't personal, it's business. My business. She went on to say that she did deliver what I asked for and it was done and delivered. Really? Then why would I be emailing you over the next month or two with refund requests and telling you it's NOT ok? She said Paypal is on my side. Yeah, I heard that from them already. I wrote her back on the 15th and clearly explained "Again" how she did not finish the book in 10 days as agreed upon, how the book was definitely NOT complete and that I was very unhappy that I paid her $400 for a book that I would have to write and rewrite sections myself. I again asked for a full refund. Aritra wrote back on July 15th and said she can not process a refund because she put work into the project. And said that if I wanted a refund then I should have told her halfway into the project and not at the end. Uh Aritra, if you hadn't noticed...I did. Not only that but we went days without commmunication from you...Remember? She did say "I am very sorry the project took this turn and I feel miserable. I am ready to cooperate should you do too!" We spoke via Gmail chat and I gave her another chance to fix the book and she accepted. On July 23rd I emailed and asked how the book was coming and on July 25th I got the reply that I would have it on Monday July 27th. On July 30th I emailed AGAIN, "Hey Aritra...Where is the book?" She replied that she omitted the portions I found irrelevant and wanted to know if there was anything else I needed reworked. I wrote back and said if you can just rewrite those portions then I would be fine with that. I again pointed out that I was promised yet again to have it on a specific day and did not receive it as promised. So Aritra writes back on July 30th and says "Edited version will be in your inbox by 12 hours.Thanks" 24 hours go by...no book, 72 hours go by...no book. On Aug 2nd I write Aritra and say it's now been 72 hours, can you please send me the finished book? No reply. 5 days later no word from Aritra, I posted in Warrior Forum, Warrior Forum PM and in one of her threads. I will take this as a lesson learned but wanted to make you guys aware of this before you make any decisions. Sincerely, Chris Morris

If what he says is true, it's absolutely unacceptable. Aritra was quite responsive when I worked with her. Fact is, if the product really is over 2 months overdue and is in no usable format as per agreed terms, at very least Chris should receive a 50% discount/refund. To think that if Aritra is just ignoring Chris, that's theft! That's exactly what it is and if I was Chris I'd be inclined to contact the mods to have this thread removed for promoting a scammer. I hope it isn't so black and white, but Chris is a sincere guy.

I really didn't want to even post this here, I have tried to work it out even after the no contact and excuses on why I didn't receive it etc. The fact is, I'm so behind on this project that I had to concentrate on another one just so I wasn't at a stand still in my business. There is a fellow Warrior who will remain nameless who is helping me out right now and hopefully this gets resolved.
