Warriors!

How many times have you read through a book and caught a typo? They just leap off the page and smack you in the face don't they? Typos 'cause the reader to think ... can I trust this person's advice? It's a silly question really, because even the biggest writers at the biggest publishing houses make mistakes - even in books printed in the millions! I've been told by friends that they've even found typos in the Harry Potter books. Do you know how many people read through those manuscripts before they went to press? Tons.

The fact is, everyone needs an editor. Everyone. Even me. When you hire an editor worth their salt, you avoid 99% of all errors. Ideally, you catch every damn one. But sometimes, the eyes and the mind play tricks on a reader, and things can get missed - like in Harry Potter. People will forgive these one-offs, because mistakes happen. But you simply cannot have a book littered with errors, as is frequently the case with eBooks. I can help.

I've been helping people get their words in order for nearly 15 years as a professional writer and editor, and I can help you too. So, tighten up that writing, and avoid those 2-star reviews on Amazon that say you can't spell. Please don't let spelling and grammar mistakes undermine your professionalism and position of authority as a writer.

Here's how I can help. From now until Dec 31, I've got a two-part offer for Warriors only. First, I'll complete a free review of the first 10% of your manuscript. I'll provide comments and corrections to you without any obligation whatsoever. Then, if you like my work, and want to move forward, I'll knock 10% off my editing/proofreading fee. My fee varies depending on the nature of the editing or proofreading, and most folks never know what they need until an editor starts reading through things. So, give it a try.

This offer lasts only until Dec 31, 2013, and is limited to the first 30 people who reach out to me here on the board. As you know, reading takes time, so I've got to keep this offer tight for now! Good luck, send me your stuff, and Merry Whatever You Wish!

Cheers, Doc
