Isn't having your system check for indexed pages a footprint? Especially if its doing it across your entire network every single day? Seems like after a few months your network would stick out like a sore thumb!

Well, first its random between the 4 versions http://, www, site.com, http://www etc. Plus there's over 400 proxies in rotation.

We are currently adding a feature where you can disable the 24 hour automatic index'd pages check. So you can check them when you wish via the buttons.

Couple features you should definitely add:

Time stamp when a site goes down, and also timestamp when it gets deindexed because not everyone will be checking your tool everyday. It'd be nice to know exactly when it goes down or gets deindexed.

Also, on your software it says one of my sites is down, but it isn't. How do I fix that?

Is there also a way to be notified by email when a site goes down or is deindexed?

So currently we are adding a variation of what you requested. No time stamp, but a statistical model on how often your site is down. So it will say your site is up 78% of the time in the last 6 months. That way, you can filter out the shitty hosts. The Database load is pretty heavy for such a feature so we are trying to optimize this and play with it to see how far we can get.

No email unfortunately for site that goes down or de-indexed. But its on a list of future features.

As for which domain doesn't work, it sometimes has to deal with how the server resolves. Usually it fixes itself within 24 hours if its a newly added domains. Otherwise, send support an email and I will have the dev look into it!

I am also tracking over 2,000 various sites/pbns to have an understanding of whats going on

To answer potential privacy question, no I cannot see ANYONE's domains except my own.

I think the best feature would be to make the (site: website.com) index check to be able to set it to once a week, once a day, or random during the week, rather than forcing it to be once a day. If you change that feature i'll become a paying customer very quickly, not to mention a lot of other people that i've talked to about this particular feature on this software.
