Mike Robinson here, for those who don't know me, I have been a warrior for several years now and I have worked closely with some of the biggest names in the game as back end support on some mega launches. Well before I began working solely online, I worked as a Web Designer, Developer, and Digital Marketer for several firms flexing my schooling from The Art Institute in Interactive Media Design. First step for me was to ditch the SUPER PRICEY Rackspace solution I was using and look for something less expensive. So I kicked around with the usual big names like Godaddy and HostGator and with both I was wholly unimpressed with the limitations on their hosting packages for the amount spent. So from there I tried several smaller companies and for the most part I was let down with support response times and generally disorganized (and quite frankly SHADY) business practices. I then opted to just run a dedicated server for my hosting solutions and eat the overhead. We all know this is the preferred solution for professionals.

But what about everyone else? Surely not everyone can afford or even set up a dedicated server for web hosting.

Most people need a hosting solution that is easy to run via cpanel with a decent amount of space and bandwidth allocation, oh and for most startup webpreneurs it should be AFFORDABLE!!!

Recently I built a site for a friend who is a struggling artist and I wanted to hook her up with something affordable, by affordable. So I poked around on the forum to see if any fellow warriors were shilling hosting at a decent rate or had any special offers. I ran into a thread from the guys over at TheHostCenter where they were offering free hosting in return for an honest and professional review, so I decided to give them a whirl and report back to my warrior community. So here I am.

When looking into shared hosting the main things that one should scrutinize are the 'bang for the buck factors I mentioned earlier:

Cpanel with 1 click install of Content Management Systems (I.E. WordPress)
Storage Space
Bandwidth
Support
Pricing

In these areas even THC's Mini Package Excels!!!

For 2 measly bucks a month you get 10GB of space (more than enough for one basic site), 100GB of Bandwidth, Cpanel with Softaculous, as well as Unlimited Subdomains, Add On domains, and Emails with full POP, IMAP and SMTP.

But what impressed me most was the support!!! During the setup of my account I ran into a minor issue being able to access the site...I was on a shared connection(staying in a hotel) and the security settings for their servers knew this and blocked me out. I shot off a message to support to see what the deal was and went for a cup of coffee figuring that it would take HOURS for them to get back to me. But before I could even get down the stairs to step out for that Java, I got not only a response to the ticket, but the IP was whitelisted and the problem was solved. It was literally less than 5 minutes, now THAT is stellar support. Try getting that level of support from even big hosting companies like GoDaddy and you will spend longer than that WAITING ON HOLD!!!

So with that said I wholly suggest that any webpreneur on a budget look into their lineup of packages and sign up with the peace of mind that not only are you getting THE MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, but you will not be left out in the cold for TOP QUALITY SUPPORT if and when you need it.

I want to personally thank these guys for offering so much for so little to our Warrior Community. I suggest that if you are one of the many in the market for hosting that you stop reading this and get over to their site and sign up before they wise up and jack up the rate! Seriously? All of this for only 2 bucks a month? I am going to be moving my money sites there to save some cash!!!
