Hi there, I've been working in the last month at my website and I am at a point right now where I don't know what to optimize anymore.
So I would really appreciate some honest reviews about my website design, overall functionality, how you feel, loading time, anything. Also tell me what you think about the images with the quotes in it! What should I keep in mind when I will make more?!
I tried to keep everything as simple and easy to navigate as possible, but also good looking. I did a good job on that?!

Thank you in advance

    - Kindly replace background color with a transparent image.

    - Make Header right portion more dynamic

    - Right widget can be optimize with more items.

    Hope this would help !!

I would add a categories drop down to the menu or at least in your sidebar. I see you have the tags widget, maybe put that at the top of the sidebar so people can easily see and get to the type of quotes they are looking for? I would take out the quotes by author drop down... Maybe its just me but I don't think anyone would search by author. I also see you're trying to sell some dating guides. I would def change the wording on the menu from product reviews (the only reason I clicked on it is because I knew you were selling something..a regular user looking for quotes would not click on it). I would also try to bring more attention to the contest and products your are trying to market other than just a text link in the menu..

    Just my quick 2 cents

This is a very interesting POV, the thing is like this:
      - the authors are the categories , i don't have other categories. I mean they are all love quotes, and i use descriptive tags that act as a kind of sorting them out. And the SEO says not to use same tags and categories. And i can barely find some tags. Because they all fit in the same category. Sure some are for friends, family, relationships but they are all love quotes. Plus i saw this category with author on many big quotes sites so i thought is a good idea.
      - now about the navigation and how people get around i was really brainstorming this one. These are some things that i use : i have a random link, you press it instant out of nowhere quote; i use this plugin that brings to front a post that doesn't have traffic, twice a day or something like that ( seo search tagging 2 plugin) so that content doesn't become stale; optimized the search, not leaving default from wordpress installed cool plugin so that people can find something easily; and last but hope to get more ideas, is these tags that i find with keyword planner and i placed them on specific posts.
      - Regarding the product reviews , i don't know what else to say. I mean, it was just a playing around idea, is not what my main business about, i just said hey, it wouldn't hurt to put there somewhere some reviews about related products. And i can't say ebook because some have video training or whatever. I don't know, product seemed like a good one and if those pages don't work i can remove them in no time, not relying on them at all.

About bringing more attention for the contest, i don't know how to do that yet, but i will brainstorm it.

Anyway as an idea, my plan is to rely on social media sharing and big numbers. I do seo and other stuff for traffic, but i think for this kind of website, high number and social sharings are the way to grow eventually. Just so you can see my vision and maybe not getting the same idea from other people.

      This is becoming interesting anyway
