I Need Your Opinions

So I wanted to redesign my blog but the one person who did the last 2 designs is no longer reliable. I have been told that the blog doesn't need a redesign and I should focus on getting more engagement. But I believe a new design will help gain more engagement and even traffic with a make over. I would really appreciate your opinions. Site In Question: My Blog

    This may just come down to personal preference but that "static" background really bothers me. I would at the very least change that to something more eye pleasing. Hopefully that helps with your decision.

      I was thinking white but I thought it would be too loud

          Eventually the goal is to make the background ad space. And the redesign would add some of the other sections on the front page. Like the music and mixtapes.

    and i agree with Phils917, try improve the background
    and i think you should make a better logo.., (just my opinion)

      Yes I don't know how to change that for some reason not matter the size the adsense banner overlaps. I think I will just take it down. But what do you think about placing three sections on the front page vs just videos?
