WP Theme that would help with rankings.

Hello i almost finished my website with local business theme by inkthemes. But im not sure if it helps with seo. i dont know but you have to put the content of the home page in the theme options menu and that like doesnt sound too good, but im not sure. Maybe any experience that can share?

Also came accross with WP Seo Theme by themeforest and looks good on the sales page but didnt buy yet. maybe will switch.

    There are many restriction when you choose any particular theme. Hence, I always prefer to create my own custom wordpress theme in which I can make any changes or add content anywhere I want. Well, in your case you can't make the changes in the layout of the design.

    As far as making the website SEO friendly, I would recommend you to install yoast plugin which helps to optimize Title, meta description and give you an option to add focus keyword on every pages and posts.

    Yoast SEO plugin also creates sitemap.xml file which is good SEO and you have to further submit the file in Google webmasters for better crawling and indexing of the website.

    Unless a theme has extensive seo features, I would say your best bet is in an seo plugin likeseopratyush suggested above me.
