"I need some suggestion on how I will increase traffic counter on my site as well as website hit counters? I am starting out to promote my own website organically but don't know how to do it. also I want to know about free web stats counter for my site & how will I get that. If anyone know about this please help me.

    Google analytics is a great free service for traffic stats. If you use wordpress, there are several plugins for traffic stats as well.

      Don't be so hard on him. Trends change and it's not a good idea to discourage re-asking a new question. Gotta keep up with the times!

      But on that note: has no one told you about the recent revelations about how google uses your data to sap your business? Who knew the Google founder who felt he had a right to pick locks to get into places he wasn't allowed would have no reservations in stealing data from businesses for corporate gain.

      Even with the data problems aside, google's product is falling behind others. I've found other tools like gostats.org (open source) to be much better. Although I prefer the SaaS version. Maybe other people have more ideas, because I'm always looking out for new developments, data is so important to me as it helps me grow my business. Due to careful use of business I've found that I can spend less and less time reviewing my business and more and more time putting around on things that I find are fun.

    You can simply use Hitstats Website.. they have a good Counters, several design and easy to add on your Website...
