I bought this html page for my ebook, but I just got a review from another author that the layout is not good, can you give me some feedback and tell me what you think please.

She said that the large paragraph at the top is a turn off .
The pictures should lead to more information about the chapter. Now The reason I didnt do that is because its a health book and I am already providing a free sample of the introduction and part of my first chapter, I dont want to give a way too much. Its already a short book.

Any feedback would great, I appreciate healthy criticism .

The site is Food For Thought

    Hello there,

Maybe you have to Make the Text More Smaller and adding a Good Not Heavy Pictures.. That will Make the Page more Good to Surf and User Friendly..

    Goodluck

Maybe it's just me or my internet connection, but the site won't load for me. Just get the blue "working" circle of dots.

These are my comments on your page:
    1. I think the font text is too much big.
    2. You can put hover and border on each pictures on topics covered in the book.
    3. The book on subscribe to get a free sample is also big, you should make it smaller.
    4. On your author section, you can make it 2 columns to maximize the space.
Your site is almost clean and good.

hi, first of all, I don't know if it is my internet or what, but it takes quite a while to load up the webpage. Also, maybe it could be more compact, because it seems to be like very big, many big empty spaces and like that. But technically this page looks good.

    Here's some feedback:

In the first section, "Food for Thought", I agree that the text is a turn off. 90% of the audience won't read it because there is too much text in a single paragraph. You are writing for the internet, which is very different audience, so make it simple and break the text up. Perhaps there is room for more details about the book in the "Topics Covered in this Book" section?

Proving a TOC or a sample chapter would also be a nice perk.

I think she was right. The header it looks way too big and has too much text.
Yes, you should definitely give more info about book chapters and what buyers can find inside it. Nobody will buy a ebook just based on vague information, so you should provide more info about the book.
Related to design. Text paragraphs have too much text and I don't like the bolded text for whole paragraph. I think you should keep it only for titles and subtitles (which must stand out).
Also, I would put the subscription form higher in the page and give it a more attractive design.
