Default Going rate for 1 page sales letter

I was just wondering, what is the going rate for a long 1 page sales letter web page that has the works: copy for the product, bonuses, video testimonials, call to action, and coding for the shopping cart? And is PayPal OK to use? If not, 1shoppingcart.com would be the other option, but I assume PayPal would be easier to set up.

Btw, there would be no need for the creation of product covers. It is a physical product which we already have pictures of.

TIA

Hi BBC
I'm not a copywriter, but as the designer of these types of projects, this is what I would need to know before quoting
  • How many ecovers you need
  • What type of graphic work you need for bonuses and how many
  • are you providing video testimonials and coding
  • Which shopping cart you decide to use and if the designer/developer has to set it up
  • Do you have hosting and domain name
  • Are there any additional pages needed (some sites require thank you and policy pages, etc)
  • Do you need support after the project is done, expected to help with marketing or brand development, etc
again, design perspective only, not writer at ALL
Interested in the writers questions though!

Well since this is the design section I will state that the design part of it could be done for a couple hundred. Not hard work. I work with a couple of young copywriters on lower budget work (I'm starting out with that as well with a long history in sales and writing) .

Maybe they don't meet the level of a number of professionals here but I don't know - it seems to me like there are a lot of people out there that can't get up to the $1,000+ price tag so you should be prepared for some compromises. Maybe have someone besides the pros write it and have a review by a pro is a workable compromise?
