Wordpress not working

Dear Warriors,

More than 6 hours ago I installed wordpress through hostgator quick install option. But still I cannot access to my site or admin panel. When I try to access it says "This webpage is not available"
Is this normal or something should I worry?
Please advice.

    Dear GainwayWeb,

    Maybe your domain doesnt resolve yet, check your NS in domain are pointing right to your server..but you can still access your site with your server ip address..

    You can check resolve hostname in here Resolve hostname to IP address

      Try the Hostgator live chat. I used to be with Hostgator and the live chat was helpful numerous times. They can surprisingly help you a lot, and quick, via the chat!

    It just means your domain isn't pointing to your website.

    When did you create your domain?

      Thank you very much for all of your comments. I contacted hostgator live support. They said it'll require sometime to get approval for new accounts. But they don't say how long it'll take. Unfortunately even after 12 hours still I cant access.
      I'll update you guys when I get access.
