SEO by Yoast indexing pages it shouldn't
Hi,
I've finished my Wordpress website and have got it listed with Google.
I used SEO by Yoast in order to set a couple of pages to "noindex", to create a XML site map and to create custom Titles and Meta Tags.
The settings within the Plugin though are rather annoying and I ended up with random pages submitted to Google (such as my author page which wasn't being used).
While I've managed to clear a lot of it out, I'm left with 2 issues remaining:
1) The category page for "uncategorised" is showing up within Google. I'm not using categories at all on my website and from looking at the settings, I think I have disabled category pages, but it's still showing up and then linking to a page which doesn't exist.
Has anyone had this issue and been able to remove it from Google?
2) The second issue is that the two pages that are setup as "noindex", are still showing up within Google's index
Again, any idea on how to remove these?
