Uploading Squeeze Page Question?

Hey Warriors,

Long time no see? I have been trying to upload my squeeze page through a FTP client and once I upload in into my websites directory that I just bought recently, it wont show up when I try to see in my web browser. Like Its a blank directory, I haven't even installed wordpress in it. Do I need to have wordpress in order to upload my squeeze page. I created it with Kompozer. Maybe I am missing something.

Run down of what I did today.

1. Bought Domain
2. Got Nameservers Setup
3. Didnt install wordpress, got FTP Details for FTP App.
4. Upload file Name: Index.html ( Squeeze page that I created ) to new bought domain directory.
5. Put in the Address. Yourdomain.com/index.html and didnt show up.

Do I need to have wordpress set up?

    You create a simple webpage, no need to for wordpress to make it work. Two different things.

    Couple things, your domain name might not be set for your hosting yet, it can take time.

    Your hosting might have default page there that might need to be moved.

    Are you sure the page uploaded? Did you upload it to the right place? For most hosting it needs to be in the public_html folder on your domain.

      I'm trying my best. I have my squeeze page labeled as index.html, I have also created an index2.htm to see if that makes a difference. Now I know that its being hosted cause in google chrome ( the web browser I use the most ) iT shows a blank page no matter what I do, but if I use Firefox it will show the ads when my squeeze isn't uploaded to that directory of my website. So its frustrating. I use Microsoft expression web 4 to create my squeeze pages for now until I get money to invest for Leadpages. I tried almost everything I can think of. I don't know what to do.

    I don't know how any one can help you without checking what you have.

    As for images, it's either that the images did not get uploaded, or they are not called right in your webpage. You did upload the images right?

    It was the path to the images, right? That's what I saw viewing the source.

    Also, you had them linked, don't think you want that.
