I am a newbie to this, please review my website(its not a review site). It is generating some income already without any marketing. Any suggestions and ideas are most welcome. I am looking for ways to promote the site. What do you suggest.

fishingtoolsoutlet.com

Thanks

Over all I think it looks real nice.

Though, the big thing that sticks out, is the very large image on your main page, th guy in the fishing boat. Above the fold is the most valuable real estate on your website, more so for the main page, so does that picture really serve a purpose? With the large height it's taking up space it doesn't need to.

As for a product page, I have always had a sidebar on almost all pages, for navigation, so they can check out your site easier. But that's just my opinion.

I agree with Ron 100%. Also, the items listed for sale confused me - virtually all of them are for hunting gear, yet your site claims to be a fishing hub

I like it how it is, but that's just me. I'm not into fishing, but if I was this site would instill trust to buy. Now you need to do SEO to it! Have you done your keyword research yet?

Do keyword research, that is always the first step. Once you have picked a few keywords, make sure they are in your content on the pages you want to target.

Site looks good, but just remember what your audience will want. As most buyers in the outdoor / fishing market don't spent a huge amount of time in front of a computer screen you are going want to make the path from entry to sale and quick as possible.

Try adding your sitemap to the footer menu, and adding some of the product categories on the top menu i.e the ones getting most traffic/sales so there is a quick click to see these items for your traffic.

Also use your slider like a promotion tool, at the moment your just giving them a button. Promote a category that sells and give a punchy headline to get them to click.

It looks good and simple. I have few things to point out:
    - It might be better to change the font style of your logo, it must be unique and attractive.
    - Make your navigation hover a little bit complicated. Maybe try a rectangular shape or when you hover it will change color into one of the colors you have at your logo.
    - There is a plenty space for your banner. You might want to shrink the height or put some details so there will be no unused space.
    - You should put some divider on your products or put a black rectangular stroke for each product.

Site looks good, but I agree with comment about banner taking over page, better to add side bar. As for promoting I am avid fisherman myself, join FB groups related to hunting and fishing, post good comments don't spam, people will check out your FB page and see link to your website on your cover photo. Share fishing stories, jokes, meme's and Youtube videos. Good Luck
