Looking For Website Feedback Please.

Hi guys,

Looking for some feedback on my site; Blogington Post

Just spent the last few days or so giving it an overhaul after a long period of neglect. And many things were broken as a result.

So areas I'm particularly interested in feedback on are;

Page speed and loading, because I've had issues with this so any feedback good or bad would be great.

How the site looks and performs on mobile so if any of you guys are accessing the forum on a smart phone or tablet your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Also had an issue with my RSS feed and trouble being found in feed readers. So if anyone could give subscribing via the feedly widget on site a try, or any other feed reader you use, and let me know how it goes. No need to stay subscribed after of course.

A lot to ask I know and any other feedback in general would be appreciated.

First thing I noticed that seemed a bit off was the rss 'logo' image. I would probably recommend changing that as it just looks very generic imho.

Over all I think it looks nice. Clean and a crisp. It loaded real fast for me.

One thing that I noticed was the post list to the left. Just doesn't quite look right, like the images blend or mash together. Just looks odd. Maybe even a 1 pixel black border around the edges of your images so it defines their space a little better? Just a thought.

You also use many of the same images over and over. Would look better to have more different images.

I think you should work on your logo.
Your logo should look unique, help us identify your website with other website.

Have changed it back to a plain logo and got rid of the RSS icon. I think you're right about it being generic and out of place, I only put it on to add some color really.

Yes I noticed something similar in a few browsers when I browser tested it. It might be the theme or maybe having different sized images is an issue. Will be using the same standard sizes in the future though.

Do you mind me asking what browser you were using?

Yeah this is due to past laziness unfortunately. But good reminder, and I'm going to add it to my editorial guidelines so I or anyone else who contributes to the site in future can't publish content without adding unique images.

It did take a long time to initially load for me.. No other complaints that I can think of though. looks good!

Thanks for checking it out.

Yeah there seems to be an unknown issue causing it to randomly load slowly or not at all sometimes.Need to get to the bottom of why that happens.

Your website is fast enough for me I like the fully responsive design of your WP theme. I tried on both PC and mobile devices to see that it looks good as well.

Everything is Good including the loading time...
Two things I would like to mention,
first is everything on your homepage is too close to each other, it would look more nice if you make some space, especially in between posts.
Secondly, you are using word "admin" as your name, instead use your real name that will increase the trust of the reader...
Thirdly, you are using low quality graphic, use high quality picture that will catch users eye
Fourth, use your real picture instead of BPost, again it will increase trust..
Fifth, you have a comment form in your contact page, thats not look good
Sixth, use a unique logo instead of simple text that will increase your branding...
