Damn, what is with all that links in your navigation menu? (sorry, but I couldn't stop not tell you this).
Before I visited your site, I said to myself, how bad can it be?
    The answer is, BAD.

Why would you want such a menu? It will be very hard for someone to really find what is looking for among all those links. Do you really need all that links at the top of your site? Are all that important?

    I guess not.

Things like " Leave A Comment / Talk About It, Terms and Conditions Of Use, Privacy Policy, About Us" can be moved in footer.

If you think this will help your site in SEO terms, you are wrong. A sitemap will be just enough.

A navigation menu should include only the most important pages that will help your visitors to find other pages (like categories or the most important pages).

My idea was to let everyone be able to see all the snacks I have to read about and to choose any one of them fast and easy. Without getting lost in tabs that may not be organized perfectly.

Do you have any additional suggestions on how I should make my navigation look?

Way too much. Users need to know where to focus. Nav Menus should really only have 5 +/- links for usability.

Thanks for the Advise... Any suggestions on how I should group my topics? Im afraid people who just want the info they came for will not look through if nothing catches there eye right away.

wow, interesting. It looks visually nice. But there is far too much going on to take any of it in! if you need to have that many menu links, why not create a drop-down menu or something?

Well I was afraid no would bother to scroll through .. I wanted the items on the counter for people to look at, so to speak.

But yes perhaps I should think of categories.

Yes, definitely needs some work to be done on its navigation Menu. It is not looking good and everything is messed up.

It only looks bad now because of the format you are using. Yes, you need drop down menu's, would be so much easier on your visitors. You just have to many pages (can be a good thing) to put all in one menu.

I know you did not ask, but a couple other things about your site. You have way too much white space. White space is not all bad, breaks up the content and makes it easier to read, but just too much here.

Also, your listing of all the snacks, what about putting them in columns, like a table? you could have probably 4 columns and shorten your page greatly, so your visitors won't have to scroll so much.

    Just some thoughts

Great advice, thanks. I am now looking into turning the main list of snacks on my homepage into columns, such as A,B,C's.. and then the next line D,E,F's and so on.

Ill also look into cutting down on some of the blank white space.

Do you have any suggestions on how to categorize or set up my snacks in drop downs so I can cut down on the clutter of my navigation? I fear people wont bother to look if it does not catch there eye at first glance. and right now I have what seems to be a respectable "look through" rate.

You know your site or niche better than I. Only thing I can think is like A-D,E-K, ect.

Or maybe a much better solution for you would be to have all your categories in a side bar. I think in your situation, it would be a much better way to go. Would look more pleasing to the eye, more organized and more professional. Do is all in the side bar and take it out from the top. Would make more sense to me.

This isn't going to convert - you need something that draws people in, show them photos of the snacks they are looking for on the homepage - you are putting in all that text for the search engines, but forgetting that once people get there, they are going to bounce fast.
    You need to rethink this...

when making a navigation menu you have to consider several different aspects (and others) such as is it intuitive for a visitor to navigate, do search engines parse it well, and does it make sense in general.

long story short, no matter how many visitors get driven to your site, as soon as they see it they'll be driven away. i don't mean to say that in an ugly way, i'm just trying to point out why you won't get any attention from your site.

think of it from an average surfer's standpoint. if you came across this site, would you click on or sign up for anything? probably not. a simple site map will get your pages indexed. though when your page is found by a surfer they'll just hit back and continue on to the next site.

if you want any further guidance, feel free to send me a PM.

      see my point?

another good way to look at website design is to look at websites that obviously work, especially those that are similar in nature to what you want to accomplish. but regardless, go to sites like aol.com, drudgereport.com, heck even perezhilton.com and analyze why their sites are driving so much traffic. then compare it to what you're trying to accomplish and go from there...

Hi SnackMemory. What I would do is I would move that list down the page and into a sidebar column, or even the footer, and reserve the header menu for major pages such as 'About Us'.

Have the home page dedicated with some spotlight articles, an explanplation of the content, and a search box so people can search for their favorites

On the side bar, have different ways to access the articles such as "full list" which when the click.goes to an infinite scrolling pagebof everything

    Then put "browse by year"

    Then put "browse by type"
    "Browse alphabetically"

Ect ect these are just examples

That waY, your home page isnt cluttered, it has random spotlight articles of snacks, an exolanation, and an.intuitive eay for viewers to see theres more content elsewhere, and many ways to browse it

Interesting idea, but yeah, too much, l would suggest an image in the background, should break up the dark background and text.

And when someone clicks on the Red lettering below, have it lighten, not disappear, it just looks like a nav, bug?

Take a look at the site nav, l did below!
