Hello, I'm currently putting together a site for a friend and everything looks great on my desktop, then I switch to a laptop and a few things are out of place/look like crap.

Here is an example -

You can tell the left picture, being the desktop, looks decent, besides having to realign text. While the right side is the laptop and looks screwed up.

Both computers are at the same zoom for the google chrome browser as well.

Any ideas on what I can do to prevent this or fix it?

Are the displays using the same resolution?
It looks like the desktop is wider.

No the desktop is 1920x1080 whereas the laptop is 1366xwhatever. Also switching between browsers on the laptop showed dramatically different results. The site was pretty screwed up in firefox lol.

What I ended up doing was make a .png and inserting it into the site for this one part. Looks just as good.
