I've been working on my website for well over 10 hours now & was wondering if I could get any input?

I was just wondering what everyone thought of it?

Some positive criticism, tips, compliments, feedback?

I'm still working on the final touches to everything but I need some sleep I have to work the ol' 9-5 tomorrow.

Well, my first impression is that it takes too much time to load.
You should also work on your logo a bit more, it looks pixelated, not very professional.

You logo definitely needs a retouch. It is not suiting your theme color. Just hire someone on fiverr to get a more professional logo. Second images on your website, specially on recent projects looks pixelated try to fix them. On the whole, it looks good, may be just add some professional touch in it.

I think it's overall pretty sleek, fairly professional looking. Definitely a little slow on the loading time. It also seemed a little... "bloated" in a way. Almost like it's a chore and a bit of a distraction to have to scroll through the whole page, but it's not a big deal in my opinion.

First impression was your logo and the design of your recent projects banners. They all are low quality and like Slade556 stated earlier, it does not look professional. Everything else such as the content, slider, footer looks amazing.

All you need to do is take care of those banners and your logo. Your 10 hours definitely paid off!

Thanks everyone, I'm currently looking on Fiverr for someone to create a similar logo, and someone to trace my current logo into a vector and see how that turns out.

and I'll definitely find a way to improve the quality of the other images, I was in a rush and I think I might have misjudged the size I was supposed to make them

site is sleek though the logo needs a rework. However, maybe there are too many offerings on your site. I didn't see a clear path to being a client

Alright, I've put a lot of work into it since the last time, got a few more pages completed and things are starting to come together.

I'm so excited to finally be in the "final touches" stage.

Another 8 or so pages left until completion.

Things are bit all over the place at the moment, but once I put the final touches on it it'll be more stream-lined.

But what do you guys think so far?

I just finished the "Services" page:

a few inputs for improvements that i think necessary.

first of all, it looks great i like the sliding thing... parallax?

the first slide is simple but looks professional. but the second and third? i think you've put too much logos. as a first time visitor to your site, i like the simple look of the first. but when i see the second and third, it's a contrast... too cluttered.

my second option is your content. when you click the down arrow on the slide, your contents are left margin. i think it's okay if you have a sidebar. but now you don't. so i think its better to see all the text at the center.

and for the Recent Project part, you make the pictures less intrusive to the overall design by making it black and white because the pictures are taking large spaces. or if you want to keep those colored pictures, you can at least make it a bit smaller. or maybe just put their logos there.

and for last, your logo at the very bottom. its different than your main logo.

Sleek but loading time is a bit high. The images below the Recent Projects are a bit off.

Logo is bad. It looks nothing like you are a travelling agent.

Images behind the slide show needs work. and the Font size can a bit larger.

Reduce the lectures in the "Who is ... David Allen Neron? " section. Add a short neat youtube video. That should take care of it.

Except these the site is good. Best of Luck.

Thanks everyone, it's a work in progress at the moment, balancing the site with family life and work.

I might not take all of your changes into consideration but I highly appreciate the feedback because I am and will be making quite a few changes based on your feedback

    Thanks guys, The WarriorForum rocks.

Really Zooming Along Now, Time to Polish it Up & Add the Finishing Touches.

Still have a lot of edits left and pages to create and sections to clean up and streamline for ease of use and clarity but the main frame work is coming together nicely I think.

I like the design in general but I would suggest doing something about your portfolio.
There are dead links, links pointing to website that looks like it's been built with Free Website Makers and a website that seems to lack content.

Your portfolio is the first thing that the potential client is going to look at. If they like it, they MIGHT become your client but if they don't, they will definitely NOT become your client.

Thanks a million for all the feedback so far guys, it's been a tremendous help.

I've spent another good day workin' on the site, making changes, and added a new page ...

I think it's functional but .. not sure on the design quite yet, probably do some testing to see.

That is a great website design. I envy you. I liked the image, the tag line and general layout. What I didn't like was the banner logo. Some how it comes across blurry (and I do have good graphics card) - specifically the text blocks. Also, I did like the product blocks on the logo, and web design. They both become blue on hover. However, the coaching and consulting box is blue and changes to blackish on hover.

I am trying to figure out why you have the HUGE image right at the start? Using images like will of course take longer for the site to load. And if you try to reduce the file size, you'll probably end up with a terrible looking image. Not to mention, your missing out on SEO, with image compared to text. One last thing, that huge image does not fit on a smaller screen. Viewing it on my second monitor, like 19" square, some of the text in the image is cut off. Just looks so odd.

While white space is good, seems a little too much between recent projects and new articles.

Other than that most of it looks pretty good, pretty professional

To be honest I haven't decided on what to put in the location of the HUGE image, there was a different huge image there before and I figured that one was more fitting for the time being until I could think of something else to use the space for...
I tried playing around with the white space a bit, but the module layout is giving me some issues, because the location right above that is earmarked for a particular module which I may just end up using so the white space issue is taken care of unless I can change the layout JUST for the main page, we'll see as the rest of it comes together.

Thanks Ron Killian, those were definitely already issues on my to-do list, glad I wasn't the only one who noticed..

You probably already thought about it, or tried it, but maybe you can take care of the white space by editing the CSS? Well, if your going to use the space doesn't matter.
