I have developed a website here,
and i have to mention that i developed this site for trial sake.

I created this within a week, and the landing page is created using my own code.

How do you think it looks?

Would you join this site if you were a mobile operating system enthusiasts?

I launched this site a month ago, but i have not had much luck getting it to the public.

Now im thinking of advertising it, but i want to know your opinion on the design before i do so.

Depending on the inputs, i will either advertise it or take it down.

The website is The Elite Developer -Home

I like the simplicity but marketing-wise, what is your USP? (unique selling proposal) - you may not be selling anything but what would you offer that other places like v7n.com doesn't offer?

    Just my 2 cents

      Thank you for your input.

I'm an App developer, and i'm working hard to put it to good use,

I created this as a friendly platform for both developers and general public.

The insight and goal is explained in the video, so put it short, an community for who ever has passion in mobile systems, i still have not created content for the site, because i want to fix the design before i go to the public.
The main motive of the site is to be friendly to the viewers and build a useful community.
In the design part, i wanted it to be simple, since i wanted general viewers to understand the site and wanted it to be easily navigable.
Is there any change to be made particularly?

Only spent a week making the site? The short amount of time and effort really shows. Site is very basic and I doubt it would capture the attention of anyone.

I'd suggest working on it more, adding more info/photos/video/reviews/etc... or hiring someone to help you.

I will tell you right now that there are some huge mistakes here. Your blog is on wordpress .com. your forum is in a sub-domain, your "question" section Is on a bub-domain. so your main "site" has what 3 pieces of content? your forum has 2 pieces of content. your blog has 1 piece of content... yourquestions section is one page and there are no votes. and you are wondering why no one has found you?

everything... and I mean everything is EMPTY. at the very least man sign up a few dummy accounts and fill some of this stuff in. gets some votes... start some type of communication on the forum...

you know what? that's to much like work.. just take the thing down.

I have to say, I agree with most of what is being said here. Don't put any money into advertising the site as-is, it would be a waste.

Check out codeacademy.com, then try building some sites using a layout system like bootstrap or foundation.

Web design isn't about re-inventing the wheel, it's about making your content look good. Why start from scratch when the foundation has already been laid?

simple and fast. but i think you should highlight the purpose of the site more. the information on the landing page is to scarce, you need to give more talks to make people eager.

I think if it will be simple and more appropriate and up to the point . What you want to convey from your website proper information should be available .Make website more attractive so that it can attract people and online chat option will be there .

Your website is quite simple and I like its simplicity. But for marketing purpose you should make a very good design with interesting features. People should attract with your website.

Proofread! That's the very first thing you should do and you've failed to do that.
I agree with most people here. The website doesn't seem to have a CLEAR goal (it might make sense to you but it appears it does not do so to everyone else).
