Hi, guys

I am working as a webdesigner on the essay services reviews website. I need your help concerning the colors. I wanted to make it bright, but I am not sure that I've chosen the right colors.
What do you think? As a website visitor, do you like it?

I find there is too much contrast between your main header and background color and it's hard on the eyes. I also think the blue text on green doesn't work for the same reasons. I actually like the purple header, but the green has to change. Maybe not a different color but something softer.

I've attached a quick screen capture of what I'm thinking.

Thnx a lot. I knew that I need to find some kind of soft colors for such combination.
Thnx for the tools where I can choose the appropriate colors!

I woud be inclined to agree with above. I would actually maybe look at a green texture vs a straight color. something like crinkled paper but that color.

Congratulations for taking action and actually putting something together!

But the colors really hurt my eyes.

Of course the only way to know for sure is through testing. You must track everything you test, and only make 1 small change at a time so you know for sure what worked.

I would start by making some more white space on your website...

Green and purple are complimentary opposites so they're going to contrast really strongly.

Bright, flat colours are really in at the moment though, I just think you're not applying them as well as you could be.

i think it depends on taste. i prefer choosing colors that meet the demands. for example: combination of brown and green is better for "earth" and "energy efficiency" kinda things. using black over red for that kind of websites is not a good option.

since color affects psychology, it can deliver the needed emotion even before the website is completely loaded. i think its also better for you to choose the color according to what feelings you want to give to visitors. a quick google search is always useful.

you can also visit paletton.com and colorcombos.com to help you decide your colors.

Everyone has their own choice to build their homes or stitch clothes. I would say see the similar sites and choose the one to move on.
As per me I would make the background width of green is less in space.

The color combination of the website does not look impressive, being a first time visitor i feel the colors catchy to my eyes. Also the cat image rotatory spoils the look of the site.

princy91, I can't remove the cat, because its a symbol and a special fitch of the website.

Slade556, yes I designed it by myself.

I am going to change the colors)

The color combination really hurts the eyes, so either reduce the brightness and make them more "transparent" or change them altogether.
Did you also design the website yourself? Not trying to offend you or anything, but it does need some more work, it looks very 90's, as opposed to the "new trends" from these last few years,
