Seems to be it. Their wording sometimes is a little vague.

      Haha, mate! No worries

Here's hoping that YouTube telling IE6 users to upgrade helps push that piece of horror of the face of the planet for good so we never have to think about it again.

Never thought I could have so much animosity towards one piece of software, but it's stolen too many hours of my life for me not to!

I only have Vista on my system and it will not allow me to use IE6 as a newer version comes with Windows....

Next, the browser check also doesn't work as it does not open my CSS menu and this is what I am having issues with. They open fine in Firefox, but in IE they are open behind a different CSS box (div) below the "header" div I have. This makes it impossible to get to the menu items.

I only know this as I saw it on a friends machine....

    Try "Reset CSS":
    Reset CSS
The goal of a reset stylesheet is to reduce browser inconsistencies
in things like default line heights, margins and font sizes of headings, and so on.
Reset styles quite often appear in CSS frameworks.
    Yahoo! UI Library: Reset CSS
The foundational YUI Reset CSS file removes and neutralizes
the inconsistent default styling of HTML elements,
creating a level playing field across A-grade browsers

and providing a sound foundation upon
which you can explicitly declare your intentions.
    It standardizes cross-browser rendering
on common elements, neutralizing browsers' built-in stylesheets.

OK, maybe this could help. It is like browsershots.org but with no fees or wait time, and just for versions of ie.

I keep a copy of Windows XP with IE6 running as a virtual machine in Virtualbox installed on my computer. It's always there so i can fire it up if I'm testing out a web page's layout.
