So I feel like this is a better site than what i've done previously, I feel more into it etc.

Just looking for some tips or guidelines from some people.

My website is Sleep Hypnosis Techniques - 5 Tips - SleepHypnosiszone

It looks good to me. Exit pop-up maybe?

Bottom line is how does it convert (if you ran enough traffic to it)?

It doesn't matter what you or I think, it only matters if you market likes it / converts.

In terms of design, I think it looks pretty good! Clean design, responsive theme, you did a good job.

    DAMN THAT FONT IS HUGE

Okay... getting that out of the way...

Move those social media icons elsewhere, 'cuz they get in the way of your article.

The copy for your newsletter needs some "bait." When in doubt, offer a Top 5 something or other. (That would work well with a timed Pop-Up or an Exit Pop-Up as SlfMastery suggested.)

And it won't hurt to throw in a crafty About Us/Me/Sleep Hypnosis page on the sidebar.

I've been thinking about an exit pop-up, and a free offer, but for some reason google advertising doesn't seem to like that sort of thing and I got denied once lol.

  • I definitely think you need to break up your text. Use some more imagery. I also think you can also head on over to Fiverr and have each one of your topics turned into pretty nice looking infographics, which you can break up with your CTA's.

You have neither convinced me to purchase these cds nor given me a reason to sign up to the mailing list.

What do you want the visitor to do when they come to your website? How have you conveyed this to them?

I missed your menu the first two times I glanced through the page.

Spend $50 on a premium wordpress theme.

Your cd is $60 - most comparable cds on Amazon retail around the $15 mark... Most people buying something for $60 will do a bit of research, even 2 minutes - its completely different to a cd which costs $8.99 and can be an impulse buy.

I'm not buying anything off a guy on the internet who only identifies himself as HypnoGuru...

    Good Luck.

whitespace is good. but too much can make it rather dull and boring. put more colors into it. i dont mind the font though...

since youre putting your social links on the left hand side of your page, they're getting in the way when you resize your browser window. as a quick example, you can see here in the warriorforum's pages... social media links are also placed on the left hand side. but when you resize your browser, they hide.

Ensure that the site has the proper elements so that visitors will not leave quickly. It should not contain any big graphics.

I like the site. I like the numbered list, but, I felt like I needed more information - expansion on the ideas you've laid out and perhaps give some additional examples. It is very clean and uncluttered which held my attention to the subject. Nice job!
