My client want to add price of each mobile available in Pakistan and want to review some of them, he also wanna post some daily news about mobiles. and later he wanna show mobile operator companies offers with contracts on commission bases. Because he gave me the data and just asked for design, normal and mobile version coding and admin panel. I charged him $500.

you even changed the color of google's ads to match your site. however, i look at it more like a gsmarena clone.

as your next step, maybe you can align the site a bit to the middle (it looks like its more to the left), create sharper social media icons and logo. you can create a mobile site as well, or make your site responsive.

Thanks for your comments, it actually have mobile version (m.buyphone.pk), and I coded it that way. if it's a Tablet then It won't redirect to mobile version but if request is from mobile then it will.

Thanks for your comment, actually left side menu show when screen resolution is wide or above and if its 1024x768 it won't show. But you mean left side is less eye catching?

The site has pretty much accomplished the goal, which is for selling looks bit busy but seems that it is meant to be. The important thing to take care of brands are on the wrong side, people always look for this and it is on the side with less eye attention.

It's a mobile price and specs site, so to show a mobile list I have to show mobile image with it title. can you please explain what you have in mind?

Great all in all. I think the left nav is a bit on the far left.

Great features:

1. Look and feel are consistent
2. Subtle animations yet convey UI very well (except for the left nav a bit on the left side)
3. Robust design - looks like you worked really hard with your site

A few suggestions.

1. Use HTML5 doctype instead, I would at least. That's the best practice for doing HTML now a days
2. HTML5 uses symantec HTML elements like <footer> rather than <div class="footer">
3. Try to make your site "responsive" mobile friendly

That's all on my end. I hope that doesn't discourage you. All is great though.

Thanks for your suggestion, Actually I am not a css guy and never worked on pure HTML5 for responsive websites. But I made m.buyphone.pk (mobile and tablet version) for my site, and when request come from mobile it redirects there. Left menu is only visible to wide screen users if resolution is 1024x768 or lower then It won't appear but top nav bar drop down will do the trick. I just utilized the left wide space to show a menu for the users on wide screen.

I will surly will start work on pure HTML5 in order to learn new techniques of responsive website designs.

I'm also a web developer and this looks clean. I always try and incorporate responsiveness on my websites, but given the vast amount of information in such a small area, it would be difficult to set this up without losing a lot of elements to a mobile friendly view.

All in all, great job! Keep up the good work!

Ultimately I would say yes, because the user experience is going to be so much better.

When I design, I think about how the user experience is, and I want It to be seamless. In addition, I don't won't to be compromising elements as this makes the user experience inconsistent, and we don't want them to feel like they were cheated because they didn't see something, right.

I didn't view this on my tablet tho, does it scale? Are you using media queries to ensure you're capturing all the different device viewports? These are very important things to consider in web development because you should count on at least 50% of your traffic to come from mobile/tablet devices, and you should expect that number to only increased.

Hello aadi1295,

I like your website, i find it very professional.

I went through it with my Iphone4 with a safari browser and i have a couple of thoughts:
- It is weird that there are some adsense ads on an e-commerce site. the last thing you want in an e-commerce site is some competitor's ad popping up.
- when you hover over some phone with the mobile version, you don't have the "+compare" feature popping up, it is smart because it is complicated to use with the phone.
- I would also replace the "Rumors" tab with "upcoming" which is more accurate (like the movie industry). "Rumors" can be understood as "gossip".

Hey, Thanks for taking some time to review the design. Actually we don't sell mobiles, but we just update their prices on daily bases for Pakistan. So, it's not a eCommerce site as you won't see any check out functionality on this site. So far my main goal is to start posting latest news about mobiles available in Pakistan and their prices only and I have no plans to start selling them through my site in near future. Thanks again

well as a web developer myself, I checked site which you have done, it looks really cool and with good stuff in there. Well site totaly worth the money, if your client asked me for that kind of site and requirements I would charge him more, but you did the best thing, i think your client will work on a long term.
