Hi all,

I am facing a little problem here. I am handling my company's website planning and developing. We source it out to web developer as I am not a programmer.

So first thing right now is, it is a brand new website. And my boss is looking at membership privilege or database system. Where different tiers/levels members will be getting different discount rate and accessibility to functions on our site.

I never had experience in this part before so right now i am trying to research on it. I still find see any website out there with this different tiers membership. I assume it is complicated and not working. So I am here to ask advice.

The easiest I could thought of on different tiers membership different accessibility, would be something like FORUMS where moderator and visitor had different accessibilities. But what about on a normal branding website. Where our current customer could view certain page with content? Or special discount rate that we offer ? Or White Paper download? but it doesn't make sense to prevent people to download your white papers... so... i am in a lot shit right now.

Please help...

Ps. Edited....

    Hi kirakenny,

PaidMembershipsPro might do what you need - though I'm not 100% sure what your goal is due to the language barrier.

    Cheers,
    Michael

      Hi Michael,

Thanks for your quick reply. I am sorry I think I am typing in a very rush way and everything sounds in a mess in my post.

Well I am basically seeking samples of website that when visitor visit there will be different accessibility to the site, when visitor who login vs visitors who doesn't login. Not to mentioned those who login also have different levels of accessibility. So maybe for example a visitor who visit my site without login, he might not be able to view certain page or download certain PDF files, or don't get to view the price of my product or offers. While those who login to account can see and download and stuff like that.

Should I call it member's privilege system? Where different tiers is getting different privilege on website.

    Hi kirakenny,

No problem mate - I'm with you now.. PaidMembershipsPro will do the trick for you based on that - it can handle multiple membership levels, signups etc..

It can also work with multiple payment processors, so you can save on fees rather than being stuck with PayPal's near criminal rates!

I'd check that out as your first port of call, you'll probably find it does what you need.

    Cheers,
    Michael

PS. I'm in no way affiliates with PaidMembershipsPro, I have used it in the past though

Just curious do i need a CRM system for membership to my site for our existing customer? If I want to track their previous purchase and provide them different access and offers.
