Wordpress Blog Page Question

Hi guys,

I have a quick question.

I have 30 blog categories on my site and 1 of them is a category that I want to keep separate to the rest. Now these posts that I want to keep separate show up fine in their own category but they also appear in the main blog page. I didn't think they should as I am just ticking the one category I want them to appear in? Anybody have any ideas or am I completely missing something simple?

    Sounds like maybe the new category you just added the blog posts to were the most recent posts, so they are showing up in your blog feed?. If you don't exclude the category in your php it should show on your main blog page, I would assume.

    Might want to look into adding an exclusion in your blogs php that excludes that category if it's not selected.

    Your main page probably shows all the posts from all categories.
    You need to tweak that code, so you'll exclude the category from the index page.
