Ok guys and gals. This is crazy. Any links back to the posts on my WP bloh show up as a blank page. If I click on the blog post title within the site, it returns a blank page.

Anyone come across this before?

Thx for any ideas

Is the single.php file in your theme corrupt? Does it have code and if it does maybe it's not complete. I'd try uploading that file again.

Can I preview the blog? I fix Wordpress issues often for my clients. A code probably needs to be corrected.

I'm moving to blogger... This upgrade has been a disaster, entire website down - blank page hell, and using the default wordpress theme. There's just so much stuffing around with wordpress, and I just have time any more to stay on top of the constant upgrades.

It's just recently that Wordpress had upgrades one right after the other... but that's good that they're constantly improving/securing their software.

I'd be patient if I were you. Nothing compares to Wordpress!

    Dave,

Unfortunately, I won't be able to troubleshoot your site without actually accessing your server and looking at your Wordpress files. Hence, your server/cPanel login details are necessary. Contact your web hosting provider for your FTP/cPanel login info. They should be able to provide you that.

    Thanks!

Dave, if you messed around with the file named themes.php, you are going to have to FTP that one file from a freshly downloaded WordPress package...the file themes.php is located in the wp-admin directory...Never ever ever hard code anything in that directory. I'm assuming you have the most recent version of WordPress? 2.8.2?

If so, you need to download WordPress to your hard drive...use an FTP program like FileZilla to upload the file into your wp-admin directory that's currently on your server.

In order to FTP you must have an FTP username and password to your server...if you want I can help you do that..you can find all this info from your welcome email that your webhost sent you when you signed up for hosting. No one can help you do anything without this info.

If blank page is served by webserver that suggest php error. It is possibe that displaying error is disabled, hence the spot of the real problem is not recognisable in the error message. If I were you in order to minimize the time/efforts I would look into the error_log to see if I find some clue there about the problematic file.
    Thanks

    Hi there,

it is so hard to troubleshoot a problem if we are not seeing it anyway, here are my hypothesis

1/ I understand that index page is ok, but is having trouble when you click posts. Did you change your hyperlinks? If you change your hyperlinks, you have to change your .htaccess as well

2/ Check your single.php, do you have one? If you do, open it up and make sure somethings written in it and you have the write codes

    Cheers!
