New idea, need some help from you guys!

Log in via Facebook is separate function from the kind of polling plugin you're trying to find. Have you tried to Google this at all? There seems to be a load of plugins to go through.

That's where office automation comes into play. My site specializes in office automation. This is where "YOU" think up an idea and then "YOU" figure out a way to solve your problem. Along the way you discover via trial and error, "YOU" are not a programmer. There are three kinds of internet traffic. Traffic you own, traffic you get via SEO and the taboo traffic. That's the traffic people don't talk about at parties and if they do... they use it as a punch line.


I recently ran into a program called Simfatic forms. It would be perfect. Here is what buddyandbanjo would do. Mind you, there is no one RIGHT way, there are many ways and the solution can get nothing but better and better all the time. Sitting here thinking about your problem causes me such excitement. Ok. I would have my audience submit their INPUT via an email message. #1 Its a great way to college the email #2 You can design the form in any way you want and YOU can model (not copy) but model your form #3 The data in the body of the message received can be read by scripting that piece. OR did you know that Simfatic Forms can save both the email address and the specific body field you design to a database? #4 There is so much you can do with that database. I for one would grab that data file via ftp to my laptop or my home machine I call a server, use excel to read the database and from there I would script it to generate a html TOP 100 list.


BTW, you could also post this idea on fivver and see if someone would write the code for you as a program. One thing that I have come to discover is.... running a website turns you into a programmer and if you are not a programmer you had better be of sorts because using canned programs is costly and it truly feels great to solve your own problems, see the hardware called your computer perform the necessary steps to the end and look back to see your results.


That's what office automation is truly all about. I apologize for such a lengthy response. But your questions just gets me so, so excited. I am not a programmer btw.

I like to solve problems and when people such as yourself have them- this kind of stuff keeps me up at night. One thing I want to point out with regards to your solution. I like to keep people as close to the programs they are familiar with. So, if you use word, excel etc. its worth investing time and energy into these what you know. In the end, your increased knowledge into what you know increases your effectiveness. What you know starts as a jumping point into YOUR success in automating your business.
