How much would a 4-5 webpage wordpress template with streaming video cost to build ?

Hello Fellow Warriors,

I would like to know if anyone can help me here, I want to know if someone knows how much would a 4-5 (4 or 5) page website would cost with a wordpress template that streams videos on the site ? Can anyone please help me and tell me how much it would cost, or what they think it would cost to build it ? Also what is XDMX or XDMC, what is that software or what is that ? Thank you very much for your time and help.

    If you have only one website I recommend the following

    1) Buy a domain name from Godaddy. Search for coupon-code, you will get a .com domain for $2 for the first year.

    2) Go for a web hosting company like hostgator.com. Select their Hatching-Plan (You can host only one domain but unlimited disk space) and it costs $66 / Year

    3) Change DNS setting of the domain name to your Hosting account

    4) Install Wordpress and customize it. Your website is ready Now !!!

      That did not help me at all. All I want to know is how much would it cost ? This is a project for one of my clients. I need to know what the regular/normal cost for this type of project. Also what type of software is XDMX or XDMC or what is it ?

        It really depends on the more detailed work you would want on there and what you mean by video. Like having the video as background, parallax, banner or just on a page with videos. All these can differ in price. Also, some web developers don't provide the content... just the shell of the site and then dummy text and images. So price would also depend on whether you wanted content on there as well.

        If you already know of a template you want though then I would suggest just going to youtube and watching how to upload yourself because that's really the only complicated part.

        & DON'T GO TO HOSTGATOR! 1&1 offers hosting .99/mo for the first year.. unlimited space and domains...

        EDIT: & I've never heard of XDMC or XDMX but they both appear to be software to play videos on your site. Someone offer you an expensive website and say those were the reasons why?

      depends on what ?

      Okay, but what if its just a simple website with the XDMC or XDMX software or plugin, with simple streaming videos 4 or 5 pages, how much ? ($1,000 $1,500 $2000)? Please anyone just help me out and let me know how much it would cost and how long it would take ? Thank you.

        Please reread my post above. I have answered your question as to how much. One thing I would add is that unless you have a dedicated server, you should probably use Amazon S3 to host your videos to stream on your website. You don't want your users watch your videos buffer

    This thread makes no sense. There are so many factors that go into the pricing of a website.

    You can't keep asking for people to give you an exact price when you give very little details about the project.

    If you're building it, domain, hosting, premium WP theme, possibly some paid plugins. All up probably around $150 and your time building it.
