So I just made a NEW website and I was wondering if you guys/girls that use wordpress ever have problems with the plug in buddypress?

    That is such a broad question... but yes I've encounter a problem? What do you need help with more detail?

    Which plugin are you referring to? And yes, some plugins are problematic.

    Thousands of websites use the Buddypress plugin without major issues.

    Many times the problem is the plugin while many times is the user themselves causing it.

    So you must be more specific as to what problem you are experiencing.

      I didn't say I was having a problem. I asked if anyone came across any big problems while using the plug in. You know like anything I may need to know. From people with experience under the plug in.

    I've used BuddyPress earlier in my site. The major problem comes in integration of BuddyPress with the themes you are using. Although BuddyPress usually fits right in any wordpress theme from repository, but certain custom themes will cause problem when you integrate buddypress.

    I later used theme from Themeforest which are easy to handle forum plugins such as buddypress and bbpress.

    Occasionally, a WordPress Plugin may not work as expected, or at all, or conflict with another WordPress Plugin.Check you've followed the instructions included with the WordPress Plugin exactly. also check that the Plugin has been activated in your plugin screen of your Administration Screens. Deactivate and re-activate the Plugin to see if this makes it work and Search the wordpress help forums for the name of the plugin and keywords associated with the problem you are experiencing. Check the wordpressplugin directory for the notes on the plugin and links to issues reported in the forums. Go to the website of the Plugin author and check their blog and plugin page for known issues or advice.
