Hi,

So I have just recently published my first course on Udemy. The course is about creating websites that follow googles Material Design spec. After many webdevs have tried to create frameworks to do this such as materialize etc. Google have finally released their own framework for us to use.

So now we can all create great looking websites using material design. My course assumes a basic knowledge of HTML, but nothing more. There are over 5 hours of content and 70+ lectures.

I am offering the first 30 of you to get a free copy:

https://www.udemy.com/learn-googles-...nCode=wfcoders

If there is more interest I will consider offering some more coupons.

If you like the course, please leave me a review on Udemy. As I said, this is my first course and it is great to get some constructive criticism to help with my next course. Of course getting some reviews to start is also great!

Thanks

Adrian

  • I never even heard of Google material design before. Interesting. I'll take a look later.

    Hi Adrian,

Thank you very much for this opportunity. I am in for a couple of videos now and I am already sold on it!

One thing I have already noticed which is production related: the background noise on some of the videos is a little bit high. I mean that humm makes itself quite present every now and then.

Other than that I think you have a pretty rock solid course and I think that it should be sold for way much than you are selling it right now.

I will also leave a detailed review once I will complete the course. That's the best I can do at this moment and I hope it will help.

    Regards

Thanks a lot for the comment! I really appreciate your input.

Regarding the hum, I realise its a bit of an issue and I really did what I could to improve it. My next purchase will be a good microphone as I do intend on continuing on the Udemy platform.

Im glad you think it is worth more than I am selling for it at the minute. This is a positive sign! I will certainly take your opinion on board and think about raising the price in the future.

Glad you found some value inside my input.

I am also working on a Udemy course and frankly I didn't want to spend a ton of money on recording solutions without knowing if I would do any good wit my course. However I managed to craft a solution using a shotgun mic from my DSLR which I already had and although I also had this background noise issue I managed to cancel it in Audacity quite well. In fact it is hardly noticeable.

But a few days ago I had the pleasure to test the Rode NT-USB mic at one of my friends and it amazing as well as ultra affordable.

If you are looking for a simple solution I think you might want to have a look at it. I, for one, will buy it in the near future without any doubt.

I wish you all the luck with your course and I hope that it will become big on Udemy because I think it deserves it.

    Regards
