    I thought Flash was "out"...?

    Yeah man the site needs to get to the point. That graphic loading time is the kiss of death and as the poster above said, is pointless.

    Why does clicking on a subpage open up a new tab? That seems amateurish. Why not just take them to the page directly, in the same tab? The menu remains on the left.

    Put some text above the example images on the subpages. Answer the question of the visitor: "What am I looking at? Why am I looking at it? What am I supposed to get out of this?"

    These days of short attention span you have about 8 seconds to capture your visitor's attention, or they will likely click away. Make it show fast, and make it show something that will grab their interest right away. So you really need to know what your target audience is, so you know what to show/say.

    Maybe before and after pictures of a home page that you made look awesome and attractive and words that say something like "XYZ Coffee Shop hired me to redo their website, and it went from this to this. Now people can order online, and their drive through business has increased 50%. I can do the same for yours." Well, I just in 10 seconds thought those words up, surely you can do better after some thought.

    The point is, just saying "I do webdesign" is not anything that would make me stay. Why is your webdesign service going to help me?

      You need to put yourself in the shoes of the normal Joe. Would he feel cool having to open your website and wait for forever before your hero image pops up? You need to work on that because Joe is in a hurry and just wants to see what you can offer. Second, subpages opening in a new tab is a big NO...If they could open on the same page but as a drop down of some sort, that would have been cool. I got put off immediately a new tab popped up. I was expecting a sleek page descent towards the biography or gallery on the same page but that was not to be. Please work on the colors. Finally, your side menu was poorly done. Font size do not tally, image collides with footer. Would be better if it slid in and out or if you prefer the way it is now, then let it fade off at the footer but never clash with it.     While I liked the flash animation, it loaded way too slow for your average customer. Also, I didn't like that clicking your navigation opened new tabs...that's just plain annoying. So if I were a potential customer, you would have lost me within the first 10 seconds. Sorry.

    I really think the design is cool and simple. I like the animations as well. The only things I think you could improve on is the speed of the intro animation is too long. And also I'm not sure why the links are opening in a new window. Would be better if they just loaded on the same page.

    I was thinking the same thing, I didn't think flash was used much these days?

    As already mentioned, the pages all took a long time to load for me. Sure to lose most visitors.

    And same as what Tony said, why do all the links open in new windows?
