Fixed is what i always prefer. ![]() And thats more web 2.0 than Dynamic. But i guess for your website fixed should do. Prateek PDJSolutions |

I prefer fixed. One of the most popular sizes now is 960 pixels because of increasingly widespread adoption of the very flexible 960 Grid System, which is well worth reading about for any designer. Quote:

I, too, prefer fixed. That way, I can always know how the site looks like, and how the elements inside it appear... regardless of the visitor's screen size.

Fixed vs fluid really depends on your content. You have alot of content on your site so fluid works. Most designers use a fixed width layout so that they can control the layout more than a fluid layout would allow. If you go with a fixed width layout, make sure that you keep the width at a 960 pixel width maximum. Most people are browsing at a default resolution of 1024x768 these days. 960px wide will take into account vertical scrollbars and extra spacing to make sure the design works without creating horizontal scrollbars. I think your site works well with a fluid layout. Maybe update the logo and your ready to go. |

Usually fixed, depending on the content. An important point is to try in different browsers, FF, IE6,7,8 etc. Sometimes the differences are more dramatic than the fixed/fluid.

| hotscode, Standard screen resolution settings for fixed width page layout is 1,024 px. But I preferr liquid page layout design. Look at my web site, it is designed for liquid layout. |
