Hmm, its not free. I have to choose a domain. I have an existing website that I had built for me. Can I log into the WP dashboard, click appearance, themes and then add new without sacrificing my existing page

You will probably blow the website when you change the theme. If you dont want to use a domain name and if you can live with domain.wordpress.com then go create a blog on wordpress.com or else you will need to purchase a domain and hosting too.

Why not just create a sub directory or sub folder on your current domain. yoursite.com/subfolder

Install another instance of wordpress in that sub folder and do what you want with it.

Can this subdomain be transferred to the buyer, Im building demo sites with the purpose of making sales from them. Is there a tutorial for this

Well, you could build the site, export the SQL, put all the files in a zip, along with the SQL. You would also need to set up the wp-config.php so the buyer could define url's. And you'd need install and set up instructions for the buyer.

Don't know of a tutorial. And doubt those that do it for a living will get you a step by step. Their biz.

On a side, if this is your plan, you don't know enough right now to make it work. I say that because of experience, that buyers of these kind of sites WILL have questions, problems and issues. You need to know wordpress, plugins and themes quite well to help your buyers. You need to know how to help them in many different ways, or your just going to be giving people their money back.

I will not deal with all that I will outsource that part and probably also the demo part. Its a very pofitable niche because most have very poor design that lacks all basics

You can search on YouTube for a better solution on building new themes, although you've to be permitted where you want to use your demo site. If they permit only theme they provide, then I think you cannot use demos. Though you can continue trying for free hosting sites.
