Funny t shirt site needs some love

I need a little criticism on a funny t shirt site It was up a long time ago with a different cms but have switched to drupal. It was getting quite a few hits before and sales as well but it was offline for a while.

Anyways I will be changing the pictures to be equal size squares that are colored. There will be a picture of the shirt in the actual product page. Ill be tweaking the look over the next couple weeks and promoting again. But before I upload the shirt products I need to change the images.

Should I add a background, The site isn't tshirthell or close to its caliber but would a background like that one at least help. Other opinions as well.

Don't be too harsh though lol thanks

Here's my 2cts worth.

The banner image does absolutely nothing for your site. It has nothing to do with t-shirts or clothing or anything. The girls on either side of the site name don't work, either.

When you add your shirt pictures, make them shots of the shirts actually on people. Cute girls would probably work best.

Lose the galleries that don't have anything to do with your product.

Lose the forum. Are you selling shirts, or creating a community? And, no, I'm not buying the argument that you could create a community around cute t-shirts. You'll end up with nothing but childish comments. Not a problem if that's what you want the site to be about. But, not such a good thing for sales to adults.

Not sure about the color scheme. Might work. Might not. Black is not a color that suggests professional and trustworthy.

you have to edit the background make it simple so that the main design would come up.

I have to agree with what has been said about your Banner and the forum.

Plus, you really do need more salable items... very limited selection.

I actually like black color websites because there is less light coming from the monitor compared to white one.

I agree on the forums and banner comments.
