Review for project I'm working on (Cogah)

Hi all
Any comments/suggestions on my newest website (Cogah dot com) would be appreciated

It's a website tools site (so aimed at web designers/developers). It currently has 9 tools, ranging from a popularity stats checker to a website creator.

Is still a WIP in parts, however any comments would be great The design is meant to be fairly simple, it's the tools which I'm more concerned about at the moment. But any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

    its not bad! Like you said it's a very simple layout, which I happen to appreciate


    you have some useful tools there.

    suggestion: add an "about us" and a "contact us" page to the site.
    people like to know who is behind the website, and they like to know how to contact the webmaster

    I'll definitely add an about us and contact us page. It will definitely make it more 'friendly'. Will add it tomorrow

    Yes, the overall header area could be improve. I'll probably look to get a logo and a tagline ("Free website tools" or something like that) which would, as you say, give a better first impression for sure.

    The content is good,
    but it seems like you haven't put enough thought on user friendly interface
    and appealing design, because there are sites on the same niche with better designs,
    and we are currently in the web2.0 stage, so I think you really should consider redesigning, Just to adjust

    but even though, the tools are quite decent.
    take my words as a deep review.

      Many thanks, I appreciate it

      I'll definitely be reviewing the design and change it if needed. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible and relatively unique, but obviously it does seem like it'll need some improving.
