    It depends on your ultimate goals. If you are just designing and developing sites for customers but you will not host any of the sites yourself, then a standard shared hosting option would probably be fine. However, if you plan on designing and hosting the sites for your clients, then you would probably need to go with a VPS (virtual private server). Keep in mind you will need to know how to setup WHM and Cpanel if that is the software your VPS uses. Many VPS providers use this software (i.e. Godaddy, Hostgator). Think about your knowledge level and decide what you can handle and then search for the best hosting option for your business needs.
