PDF TO WEB PAGE CONVERSION HELP!

Hi there guys,

I've posted this in the Programming forum, so apologies for doubling up, but not sure which forum is the right one to ask for help on this one.

I'm hoping there will be a relatively straightforward (not necessarily easy) answer to my question.

A graphic designer has emailed me the web pages he designed in Illustrator as a pdf. How would I go about turning the pdf into web pages?
Do those online pdf to html converters work? I'm comfortable with working with the code once I have it, just not sure of the process of getting it from pdf to code.

Any suggestions on what to do? I'm very able and keen to learn these things myself, with the right information and instructions. Am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Failing doing it myself, where would you suggest looking to find someone reliable to do it for me, and how much should I expect to pay? The pdf is 9 pages.

Thanks for your help,
Sissy

    Sissy,

Did the designer give to you the PDF as a preview (so you can view how your site will look like), or is that the final product?

I guess that happens, but it's rare that somebody gets a PDF version of a web design. It seems to be incomplete work, if that's the case.

I would suspect that is a mockup design for your review. If you haven't paid for the work, then they're not going to send you the source files. However, it seems strange that someone would only give you the pdf with no additional information to get the source files... Seems like we're missing more puzzle pieces here....

    Ryan.
