Hi guys,

I am working on a site about movie trailers, reviews, news etc (Themoviescout.com The best place for any passionate moviegears to see the best films!)

the design is almost done and i am debugging the last issues and i hope to release my new news page this week. I like to know what you think about the website and ofcourse i would love to know what you are missing.

i would also like to know how i can monetize a website like this, i added some 'download' and 'play now' buttons that will redirect to an affiliate offer already.
i also implented a buy now button that will redirect to an amazon offer.

What would be the best way to drive traffic to this website? would that be just SEO and social media marketing?

I hope to get some positive feedback about the site and some great ideas for my to-do list!

Regards!

For sure you want to have an opt-in email list. Make it easy on yourself
at first and publish every two weeks. Eventually, you will want to go
    to weekly.

There are thousands of opportunities for promotional tie-ins when
movies launch. Plus, the related product sales are endless. HOT
movies move A LOT of merchandise.

SO YOU MUST HAVE A LIST.

If you establish a big list (world-wide), you will be able to get
interviews with big stars when they are in PROMOTION MODE.

You definitely must have an RSS feed. Promote this heavily,
because in some cases your RSS feed will be more efficient
and effective than an email blast to your list.

Submit your RSS feed to this quality RSS directory list:

Finally, grow your list through an ad-swap with someone who
makes movie figures (or something similar) for a living. You
will need some free incentive offer for subscribers to join your
list in the case of a swap.

    Best of success.

For monetizing it you could offer discounts or special promotions (cinema, DVD's) to premium users. This kind of users could have access to interviews and some cool information restricted for regular users.

Also, it would be great to sell movie-related merchandise (T-shirts, caps, posters, stickers, geek items, magazines, toys, etc.).
