Newbie Here: Please critique my website and anything else
I've been reading this website for over 6 months now and I'm glad to say I finally signed up. I'm a newbie so I'm sorry if my questions are redundant to the forum. I'm sure I will learn along the way.
I sell rustic home decor. My website is The Cabin Shack.
I haven't had any sales on my site. I started selling our products through Ebay over the last 4 months and I would say we were somewhat successful. So, with the small sample size from Ebay I thought we'd be able to sell online. Not the case... In the last few days, I have enabled Google Adsense and have paid for advertising through Facebook. I have not received any sales and am unwilling to fork over more money because the ROI is not worth it. I don't think people are interacting through my website.
I host through Shopify, and I know there will be improvements through design, product pictures, and product selection (We are still growing our inventory, and looking for drop shippers) etc...
Aside from critiquing my site, can you guys help guide me in the right direction of where to go.
For example:
How do I find affiliate marketers to sell my stuff?
Should I spend a lot of money upfront on Adsense or Facebook?
Should I focus more on targeted marketing? e.g. marketing through an outdoor magazine or somewhere where my audience will be?
Anything would help this guy. I'm highly motivated, just looking for direction...
