Ok, I don't know exactly who saw my last post about the idea for my site Can't decide what to do! but I'm in need of some more help! As you see in that post, I pretty much came up with the idea on my own by brainstorming with myself... however, I need a logo now. My site's been so many different things, and only two of them had any kind of logo. One was a little man similar to MySpace, and the other was the letter A in a specific style. I don't want those anymore because they were just... blah. So, I'm either looking for some help on some ideas, or possibly someone to design a rough idea of a logo for "Waloosh". If the design is good enough for me, I'll definitely pay. I'm looking for any ideas you guys might have. EDIT: Oh, and I'm thinking of having a blue-ish design for my site. Light and dark blue. (Also, if you do design something for me, please protect it with a watermark.) |

It's very difficult to create good logo. Not only that, It's very difficult to even choose from the creation of great designs.

@cheesy Anything's good, really. As long as it's blue. @bizco I know it's difficult to create a good logo, that's why I'm having this problem, lol. I'm a graphics designer, yes, but when it comes to creating a custom logo from scratch and no ideas at all... it's even more difficult. I mean, what exactly can you make for "Waloosh"? Most people think about a water theme park when they say Waloosh, but it's going to be a graphics design site for internet marketers (or anybody who wants them)... I'm so lost on it, lol. I've been under some stress lately, so I'm entrusting users from WF to hopefully come up with a really good design. =) As I said, I'll pay if I really really like it, unless someone wants to make me one for free I don't see that happening though, lol.One reason I'm looking for a logo, is because I designed this http://www.waloosh.com/wf/twitter/walooshtwitter.jpg specifically for my Twitter page, but look how blank it looks. It needs a logo that goes on the side or something. (Heh, I didn't realize how crooked most of it looked until now... I did it at 2 in the morning, lol.) |

I can't see your example logo, neither your site give me no clue. so I can't bring it to make some example. waloosh ....?, hmm..., I think it's better to make character named waloosh and use it to your logo. at least it looks easier than try to find some word that suit 'waloosh' meaning .., IMO .. |

Yeah, could you please give more details on the meaning of the site, what do they do? Might give me more of a chance to design somthing on topic and not simply random.

I'm looking for a random logo, anything that could possible go with "Waloosh". Right now, Waloosh is kind of all over the place and none of us can decide what to do. I'm not giving up on it because it's my only source of income and it's actually been pretty good with it. I'm looking for a blue-ish design of anything that anybody can come up with. Maybe a redesign of the word? Maybe just a random design that kind of just pops out and attracts people. The word "Waloosh" is catchy, so I need a catchy logo that people can remember. I don't want it too complex nor too simple. Just anything you can come up with from scratch. |

your logo doesnt have to be fantastic or flashy. I mean, look at yahoo's, and google's. their logos are just... typography? but by all means, be creative. have fun with all the creativity. (:

By all means, if you feel you should go full detail, then do so and I'm hoping it comes out very nice, which I'm sure it will. =) Just remember to also watermark it.

Well, I've seen a few good designs... but not really what I'm looking for. I think I've come to a complete conclusion on what I'm going to do with Waloosh. So, for everybody that needs and wants details and more information, here you go: Waloosh is going to be a large community with all kinds of tutorials and resources for all sorts of things, such as png icons, vectors, fonts, eCovers, advertisement banners and buttons, call-to-action images, payment gateway buttons, etc. The tutorials will be for all sorts of things, such as how to create and use a blog, how to install mods and addons for those blogs. Hosting basics, such as creating a MySql database, add permissions to the database, setting up emails, ftp access, subdomains, etc. I'm going to be using this logo on about 4 different areas of my site, so I need something with a transparent background and as for normal design or Web 2.0... If you can create both, and show me, that'd be even better. Also... PLEASE WATERMARK. Two people haven't yet. =) I only do this for your own safety, especially when you link it from places such as Photobucket, it spreads throughout the internet quickly. |

If you had the perfect design, how much would it be worth to you? I have an in house graphic artist that spends all day creating logos...I could give you 3 to choose from pretty quickly...but not if we're talking about a $25 fee |
